BASIC INFORMATION FOR PARTNERS ORGANISATIONS OF THE

STUDACT PROJECT.

PRIP is happy to inform you that the Erasmus+ Project "Study-Action Circles" has been approved.
We are looking forward to sharing with you this methodology and work approach to stimulate
active citizenship among young people.

In this document you will find the basic information about the project. More detailed information

A. THE PROJECT.

Title: Study-Action Circles: methodologies to stimulate active citizenship among youth.

Acrónim: Stud Act.
ID: KA153-YOU-6460B4F.
Programa Erasmus+: KA153-YOU - Mobility of youth workers.
Starting date: 01/06/2023
Ending day: 30/05/2024 (modified from the original)

SUMMARY.

StudAct offers an 8-day "Study-Action Circle" training. This non-formal education programme is
addressed to youth workers, and uses active methodologies so that participants can acquire the
necessary skills to create and run Study Circles-Action with young people in their community.
Furthermore, the training will introduce them to a battery of pedagogical resources that they
can use in their professional activity.

The project also includes the creation of a Transnational Working Community (TWC-StudAct),
which will help organisations and participants to share knowledge, good practices, co-create and
develop organisational tools. This cooperation platform will enable the sharing and replication
of innovative ideas and solutions.

In addition to training, we want to take advantage of this meeting of people and organisations
with experience in the field of youth work, to discuss and generate synergies that strengthen
the working capacity of the participants, stimulating PARTICIPATORY LEARNING.

As a result PRIP will create a platform for sharing experiences, learning resources and models of
evaluation of experiences in the creation of Study-Action Circles with young people among those
participants who, after the end of the course, wish to put the training into practice.
During the networking sessions that will take place during the training, the foundations of this
learning community, accessible to all participants after the end of the project, will be laid.

ORGANISATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR SENDING PARTICIPANTS:

Before the training course.

1. SELECTION OF PARTICIPANTS:

Participating organisations (POs) will select national participants on the basis of their experience
in supporting young people; their personal, socio-educational and/or professional development;
their motivation to participate; and on the basis of the likelihood of continuing collaboration
beyond the project.
A participant can belong to the sending organization, be a collaborator/volunteer or can belong to
an other organization as far as it has any kind of background working with youth.

If there is more demand than places available, and if there are equivalent profiles, gender equity
will be prioritised in the formation of the group of participants, and 20% of the places will be
reserved for profiles of youth workers with fewer opportunities.
Another selection criterion will be the level of English comprehension, preferably an intermediate
level, in order to guarantee an adequate learning process.
Participants should have the physical ability to live and function in a natural camp and take part in
outdoor activities in the field.

2. SELECTION OF THE GROUP COORDINATOR.

Select one person who will participate in the training and who is from your organisation to be the
Group Coordinator. Their role will be to liaise between the participant and the PRIP, both before
and during the training.

3. FACILITATE THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION.

3.1. Inform the participants you send about the course they are going to attend through a
meeting (can be online) and establish with them a communication system (whatsapp, e-mail...).
Please record the meeting.
Resource: PRIP will send a document called INFO PAK with all the details of the training course.

2.2. Help us to offer the best possible training by providing us with information about the profile
of the participants. To do so, we will send you an online questionnaire that you will have to
spread among the people your organisation sends.
During the trainning course.
During the training course.
4. NATIONAL MEETINGS.

During the training course, space will be provided for each Group Coordinator to meet with
participants from their organisation in order to create a space of trust where participants can
make suggestions for improvement to the course development.

The Group Coordinator should facilitate these meetings and pass on relevant information to the
PRIP training team.

After the training course.

5. DESSIMINATE THE PROJECT.

Make a publication about the experience of your participation in the project in your media
