Helping With Students Presentation

In this proposal I will describe some of the difficulties students at school have with their final
presentation. I will give some recommendations on how to structure your presentation and
how to sound confident while presenting your presentation.
Following discussion among the students it become clear, that many of the students are not
able to build their speech texts. Another part of the students are afraid of speaking in public.
Most of them have not previous experience in public speaking.
In this regard, I would suggest forming a group of students and teachers where every
student can get some important tips about speaking in public.
Also, I would suggest to the teachers to create a list of possible presentation topics.
- For those, who are interested it could be a lesson about how to structure a presentation.
- During class, students should be given the opportunity to freely present and speak. A
number of games should be created to improve the ability of speaking in front of an
audience.
- Even the best presentation makes mistakes, so the students need to be informed about
what platforms to use. They should also have a chance to try their slides and other materials
before their speech.
If those recommendations are implemented, it will lead to an increase in students’
confidence and they will be able to perform better in their final presentation.
