What's more effective, bodyweight training or lifting weights?

Since forever, there is a debate about what training method is better,


bodyweight training or weightlifting.
In my opinion, bodyweight training is way better than weightlifting. First,
it trains your body proportionally to your current body. It means that in
bodyweight training, your body grows according to how much and what
you eat, so it's very effective in this kind of sport. Second, in bodyweight
training you train your whole body in most exercises equally, unlike
weightlifting that can build different muscles with different sizes, for
example huge arms with skinny legs, an unproportional body.
To sum it up, bodyweight training is a sport for people who want a
proportional and equal body and weightlifting is a sport for people who
want to target more specific muscles and make them bigger than others.
