Dear Friendly Aliens,

First and foremost, we would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation for Ideas on

conquering climate change. This problem has caused our planet and its inhabitants many

treacherous troubles for centuries, and for this we are forever thankful. Our people are starting

to look like dried up fish as well as smell like it. We fear for the penguins, seals and polar bears

in the frigid temperatures of the great Antarctica. Our planet is as hot as the sun right now. The

idea of the air conditioned dome that stretches the span of the entire solar system. If you ever

need our help we will gladly help you with anything.

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, gratitude is defined as the state of being

thankful/grateful. The word Thankful is often associated with thanksgiving which took place back

in Autumn of 1621. Thanksgiving was when the pilgrims celebrated their successful harvest with

a magnificent feast alongside the American Indians. We use gratitude for things that involve

being helpful. We express gratitude to people who lost their lives protecting our Country. Lasty,

Gratitude can be expressed in many different ways and can go a long way to making someone's

day. Within the following paragraphs we will break down the meaning of gratitude and why it’s

so important in America’s society.

Unfortunately the Aliens crashed and interrupted our Pink floyd Concert while

comfortably numb was playing. Pink Floyd is a rock band that started in London in 1965. Three

characteristics of Pink Floyd are elaborate live music concerts that get the crowd involved with

the music by static lights and loud noises. Pink Floyd and his band also hold the record for

having the first surround sound music concert which had to be pretty electric if you ask me. Pink

Floyds is also known for his painstaking drug intake which he seems to influence his fans with.

In the next couple paragraphs we are going to go more in depth about these characteristics.

Pink Floyd is known for their elaborative music. They would use special effects. They set

the standards in live performance with these special effects. One of the special effects that they

used was dynamic lighting. Dynamic lighting is a background for the band while they perform,

strobe lights lit up the area around the stage and behind the band liquid lights were projected on

screens. Another form of special effects are props, they used props such as huge helium filled

balloons and large scaled model planes. A final form of special effects were pyrotechnics, these

included such things as dry ice and fireworks. The next paragraph talks about surround sound

music.

On May 12, 1967 Pink Floyd shocked the world with the first ever surround sound music

concert at Games of May in London in front of Queen Eilzabeth. This was a new beginning to

the world of live music as this hadn't been done before. Pink Floyd just set the standards even

higher with this new way of live music. Along with Pink Floyd's fancy light shows that were

incorporated with his shows the surround sound has added a huge bonus to his shows, like who

wouldn’t want to attend one of his concerts.

 During the band's formation in the early 1960s, many members of Pink Floyd were

influenced by psychedelic drugs, more specifically Syd Barret, their Lead guitarist at the time.

This can be seen in their albums from the late 60s and early 70s where psychedelic is an

influence. The many unusual sounds and different haptics within their music make it an

interesting experience for the listener. Pink Floyd has been an extremely popular band for many

decades selling out massive arenas, it is very fortunate that the aliens crashed into this

amphitheater.
