[men], the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but
they could not shew the interpretation of the thing: And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if
thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and [have] a chain of gold about
thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom. And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they spoiled

thy word, and kept thy covenant. Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the
passover be left unto the morning. Who [are they] among all the gods of these lands, that have delivered their land out of my hand, that the LORD

after [him] shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted. And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be

first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took

Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, [and cast you] out of
my presence: And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten. Then shall they call upon me,

which dwelt in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, which dwelt at Astaroth in Edrei: On this side Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to
declare this law, saying, The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount: Turn you, and take your journey,
and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all [the places] nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by

filled with bread; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD your God. It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because [it is] none of his: brimstone shall

were scattered: And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return [into] the land of Pathros, into the land of their
habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom. If others be partakers of [this] power over you, [are] not we rather? The Lord said, I will

upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it]. Then he said,
What title [is] that that I see? Moreover the LORD shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but

sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. I hearkened and heard, [but] they
spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and

away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up. Better

the first altar that he built unto the LORD. And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was

he will cast thee off for ever. I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust. Thinkest thou that I cannot now

Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; But with [him] that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also
with [him] that [is] not here with us this day: (For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye
passed by; And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which [were] among them:) Lest there should be
among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go [and] serve the gods of these nations;
lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless
himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: The LORD will not
spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie
upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. What then? Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? And next unto them
repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the
river. And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants unto the LORD thy God, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins [this]
evil, to ask us a king. For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Now the pit
wherein Ishmael had cast all the dead bodies of the men, whom he had slain because of Gedaliah, [was] it which Asa the king had made for fear of
Baasha king of Israel: [and] Ishmael the son of Nethaniah filled it with [them that were] slain. Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea,
saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and ye believed him not,
nor hearkened to his voice. If [one] be found slain in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, [and] it be
not known who hath slain him: Then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which [are] round about him
that is slain: And it shall be, [that] the city [which is] next unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take an heifer, which hath
not been wrought with, [and] which hath not drawn in the yoke; And the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is
neither eared nor sown, and shall strike off the heifer’s neck there in the valley: And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the
LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the LORD; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be
[tried]: And all the elders of that city, [that are] next unto the slain [man], shall wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the
valley: And they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen [it]. And Nahash the Ammonite answered them,
