OPENING

“Hi, this is (Your Name) with Trinity Solar, is this (Their Name)? “Hi NAME, how are you
doing today?”

“I’m doing well, thanks for asking! I see that you applied to one of our job ads and I would
love to discuss the opportunity with you.

Before we get started, I have a few quick questions for you, then I can tell you a little bit
about the role and the company and I would love to hear about you and your goals.

You are looking for full time, correct?

(After looking up commute) I also noticed that the drive from your town to the office
you applied for is _____ minutes away, I’m assuming that’s a doable commute for you
and that you have reliable transportation?

Also do you have a smartphone with data? Our company uses certain apps that you
would need daily.

Tell me a little bit about your previous work history (focused on customer service or
sales roles) and your goals. Try to throw in some relationship building into this.

That sounds great, Name! You have some great experiences!

2. ABOUT TRINITY SOLAR… I would love to tell you more about Trinity Solar.

● We are a family-owned residential solar installation company, now one of the

largest privately owned solar installers companies in the country.
● We have been in business for 30 years, install up and down the east coast.
● Trinity’s sales sectors work hard and play hard. There is a lot of fun and exciting
incentives with sales… company trips and prizes per quarter based on performance.
● We have a family-owned culture and ownership is continually making sure they let
their people know that we are their number one asset! For Example…They recently
gifted back a weeks’ vacation to all employees. Little touches like that really show
they care.

3. ABOUT THE POSITION….

I do want to be fully transparent about the position, we are canvassing neighborhoods.

● I like to call it an “easy-hard” position. It is an easy job that requires a lot of mental
stamina but offers a great career path, a generous base salary, uncapped
commission, and full benefits package. You are paid $1,000 per week for
training. Basically, you are being paid to learn a new industry and the sales field
(overcoming objections, sales pitches etc.). Plus…Trinity Solar typically promotes
employees in these roles within a year to a year and a half.
● Your role will be to get our potential customers excited about solar and ready
for an appointment to review solar program, eligibility etc.
● Solar is projected to grow 400% in the next few years. Trinity has doubled in size
in the past 3 years from 1500 employees to over 3000. I like to say it’s the closest
you are going to get to a recession-proof industry.

Does this sound like something you would be comfortable with?
