Review application materials (NOTE: this interview can only be conducted with candidates
who have completed the Workday application.)

Hi, this is Héctor from Trugreen, May I speak with _________?

I'm calling you regarding your application to our open position as a territorial sales
representative at TruGreen. I Don't know if you are willing for an interview right now.

We have a phone interview scheduled at this time and I'd like to know if you're available
right now to start your interview.

If no answer: could you tell him that we called him from trugreen for a job offer my
name is Héctor Ospina and my phone number is (585) -902-9024 Ext: 8261

before moving to the next part of this phone call. I’m going to ask you some yes or not
questions to know if you met the requirements of this position.

• Are you at least 18 years of age? yes

• Do you have a current, valid driver’s license? yes

• Do you have a vehicle for reliable transportation? (You do have to use vehicle during
working hours, and we reimburse gas mileage at $0.40 cents per mile)

• As part of our pre-employment testing, we will run a Motor Vehicle Report as well as a
criminal background check. Are you okay and comfortable with that?

• We’re looking to fill full time salaried positions, can you work Monday throught Friday
(Hours vary seasonally, but generally will start at 10 or 11 am until 7 or 8 pm) right now we
have full time position, maybe in the future you could change your schedule, but you would
have to check with your supervisor.

• The TruGreen policy prohibits visible face/neck tattoos or excessive facial piercings
for customer-facing positions. Do you anticipate having any problems complying with
this policy?
Ok, we are going to talk a bit more about the job description.......so what kind of products
you will offer and schedules....

“" Our Territorial Sales Reps are responsible for selling residential lawn and landscape
treatments & services. These services include fertilizer, weed control, pest control,
mosquito control, shrub and tree maintenance, aeration, and various other services. We do
NOT cut grass but offer services to make the growth in your yard healthier and thrive. The
typical hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 10 AM – 8 PM, and some optional
Saturdays ("It depends if sales representative meets their weekly quota, which they usually
do. Additionally, if you are willing to work on weekends, that would be great because you
can acquire more clients and earn more income during the week.

We do pay a base salary plus commission; the base annual salary is < $42,000.00>. The
lowest you can make per week could be ( $807.69 ), but you have the opportunity to make
more money because you have uncapped commissions that will be added to the top of your
salary. Does this sound like something you would be interested in?”

Now I'm going to explain how a normal day in this position is .....

The start of a typical day upon arrival at the branch could include a morning meeting,
maybe do some roleplays or other training exercises. You will receive your sales route with
a client list and then drive from the branch to each client's location. You’ll get a company
iPhone to use throughout your work day to navigate to your route (usually the latest or
previous version is delivered, and is better that you only use this iphone for professional
purposes but if you really need it for an emergency or something like that, try to advise to
your supervisor ).... ;

Once you have arrived at the location where you will be conducting sales you will park
your car in a safe location and then walk door to door to sell TruGreen products and
services. For the majority of the year, you'll be selling our products to new customers,
knocking on doors every day, as well as upselling current customers. The dress code for our
Territory Sales Reps is business casual, which includes khaki shorts or pants (no jeans), as
well as a TruGreen provided shirt.

Your first week on the job is paid company training, we will train you in everything you
need to know to be successful in this role. We also promote from within, so there is
unlimited potential to where you can move throughout the organization. The second week,
your pay becomes a weekly salary as well as uncapped commissions starting after the first
sale! The commission percentage is based on how much you sell, so the more you sell each
week, the more you can earn in commission percentage. Whatever you earn in commission
is added ON TOP of your base pay.

• Do you have any questions about the position, hours, or pay structure?
About training: The first week you will be with a trainer who will train you in general
aspects, the second week you will be in the field, but you will not be alone but observing
how you will have to offer the products with a person who has already had experience in
this.

commissions: depends on how much you can sell more commissions

Our sales rep in a business day could be walk around 6 or 7 miles, and in an inclement
weather day usually you could work into the branch.

Now I'm going to ask you some questions, but don't worry about it, because there is not
right or wrong answer.
