The Supervisor Mr.

Chanuong announces that our school community has a new

headteacher!
Last Tuesday, Mr. Abraham Bior Mach was appointed by the Supervisor of the School, Mr.
Chanuong Marial. This news comes as a relief to our students, as we have been running
without a headteacher for the last one and a half months, which is not good for any school.

During his address to the students, Mr. Marial explained that he had made efforts to bring
back the previous headteacher, but unfortunately, it was not possible due to some issues with
senior four students. He urged all students to cooperate with Mr. Bior Mach and show him
respect so that the school can run smoothly under his leadership.

As for Mr. Bior Mach, he expressed his commitment to bringing positive changes to the
school. He assured students that he would do his best to improve the quality of education and
ensure that the school runs smoothly. He also addressed the issue of bullying (Ken), stating
that he would not allow any form of bullying in the school. He encouraged students to report
any incidents of bullying to him so that they can be addressed promptly.

We want to extend a warm welcome to Mr. Boir Mach and wish him success in his new role
as headteacher of our school. We also urge all students to support him and work together to
make our school a better place for learning. Together, we can achieve great things!
“We are safe’, say South Sudanese students in Israel
South Sudanese students in Israel say they are safe amidst the ongoing firing of missiles and
rockets between the Israeli Defence Force and Hamas of Palestine.

There are 22 South Sudanese University students studying under the Isaeli government
scholarship in Jerusalem, Herzliya and Tel Aviv.
And about 120 South Sudanese immigrants mainly women and children are reportedly
staying in the Israeli cities of Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, Bear’r Shava, Afola, Aratt and Ellat.
They had crossed to Israel through the border of Egypt before the independence of South
Sudan in 2011.
The students told Eye Radio in an exclusive interview Wednesday morning that they are far
from the border with Gaza where Hamas attacked on Saturday morning
Three of them by the names of Omot Thomas and Deng say they are living in a very safe
environment despite some rockets landing across the cities.
“South Sudanese community is safe from all these kinds of kidnapping or injuries, and most
of us are in Tel Aviv and for a little bit from Gaza. We are okay and we thank God for that”,
said Omot Thomas
Another student Amos Chan said, “We are all safe, and we are living in a very safe
environment. Tou our family back home, they should not worry, we are all safe and the
country is gaining back security across all the states”.
Over 1200 people have been killed in Israel and 2,800 injured.
In Gaza, over 1055 people have been killed, 5183 injured and 36,000 displaced following
Israeli air raids.
Senior Three Arts Student's Phone Stolen

Yesterday, during lunchtime, a senior three arts student named Isaac Chuol had his phone
stolen. We urge anyone who has found the missing phone to either return it to Isaac or to the
administration. Isaac has not yet identified who may have taken his phone, but we are
actively searching for the perpetrator.

This situation is extremely distressing for Isaac, and we would like to remind everyone that
stealing is unacceptable and has no place in our community. We implore you to do the right
thing by returning the phone to its rightful owner.

Isaac is also the religious prefect in our school, and we cannot comprehend why anyone
would do this to him. We hope this situation can be resolved quickly, and we thank you for
your cooperation.
