What is known

Functional constipation is common in children and accounts for 95% of cases.

Functional constipation greatly impacts a child’s well-being and growth and causes adverse effects
on the quality of life of the child and parents.

Chronic constipation may associate with poor growth or obesity in children.

A new study is conducted to provide an updated systematic review related to the association
between paediatrics constipation and growth in children.
