Guidelines for School WIFI Connection

1. REGISTER YOUR DEVICE

Requirements:
a. Company laptops with company policy/restrictions like Static IP allocation
is not encourage on mac address registration.
b. To obtain correct MAC address of the device, Randomized Hardware Address
should be disable in Windows laptop.
 For Android “Phone MAC or Device MAC should be selected.
 For IOS “Private Wi-Fi Address” should be Off.
Disabled Randomized Hardware Address in Windows:

For IOS iPhone/iPad: For Android: Phone/Tablet

 c. To obtain correct MAC address of wireless device please follow below:
To Find the MAC Address: (Windows) Type cmd into the search bar beside the Start menu to bring
up the command prompt. Type ipconfig /all and get the Physical Address.
(Apple MAC) Open Apple menu in top-left of the screen.
Click on System Preferences. Select Network and then click Wi-Fi from the menu on the left. Click on
Advanced.
Click on Hardware from the Advanced menu.

 Take note of the physical address in the indicated description of your

wireless model under “Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi:”

2. CHANGE OF DEVICE
For change of device, please email your name and new
device mac details to itc@arellanolaw.edu

3. You may approach the IT Helpdesk at FCJ 3rdfloor, and in front of Review Room
during examination period for assistance.
