friends in school and good

soccer, enjoys pick-up games of BB.

clinic. Just starting to sit up. Unable
to transition from supine to sitting
position. Left hand fisted. Unable to
transfer objects from one hand to
another. No vocalizations observed
7 yo boy observed in NDV clinic.
• Poor focus and impulse
control. Continually trying to
touch objects in room.
• Started to tantrum in clinic
when was unable to leave the
room.

store. Preschool aged child tried
to put candy in cart. Parent calmly
took candy out of cart, got down
to child’s level to talk to child.
Child started to tantrum. Parent
calmly stood by child until tantrum
stopped about 1 min later.
Parent making no effort during
clinic visit to discourage child from
touching various objects in room.
Evaluator needed to prevent child
from leaving room. Parent
occasionally checked phone
throughout clinic visit
