ABORTION AND HUMAN RIGHTS

Abortion is the ending of a pregnancy by removal or expulsion of an embryo or

fetus before it can survive outside the uterus. An abortion that occurs without
intervention is known as a miscarriage or spontaneous abortion. When deliberate
steps are taken to end a pregnancy, it is called an induced abortion, or less
frequently "induced miscarriage". The unmodified word abortion generally refers
to an induced abortion. A similar procedure after the fetus has potential to survive
outside the womb is known as a "late termination of pregnancy" or less accurately
as a "late term abortion.”

When allowed by law and performed by trained personnel, abortion is one of the
safest procedures in medicine. It is safer than carrying a pregnancy to term, which
has a 14 times higher risk of death in the United States. Modern methods use
medication or surgery for abortions. The drug mifepristone in combination with
prostaglandin appears to be as safe and effective as surgery during the first and
second trimester of pregnancy. The most common surgical technique involves
dilating the cervix and using a suction device. Birth control, such as the pill or
intrauterine devices, can be used immediately following abortion. When
performed legally and safely on a woman who desires it, induced abortions do not
increase the risk of long-term mental or physical problems. In contrast, unsafe
abortions (those performed by unskilled individuals, with hazardous equipment,
or in unsanitary facilities) cause 47,000 deaths and 5 million hospital admissions
each year. The World Health Organization recommends safe and legal abortions
be available to all women.

Around 56 million abortions are performed each year in the world, with about 45%
done unsafely. Abortion rates changed little between 2003 and 2008, before which
they decreased for at least two decades as access to family planning and birth
control increased. As of 2008, 40% of the world's women had access to legal
abortions without limits as to reason. Countries that permit abortions have
different limits on how late in pregnancy abortion is allowed.
Historically, abortions have been attempted using herbal medicines, sharp tools,
forceful massage, or through other traditional methods. Abortion laws and
cultural or religious views of abortions are different around the world. In some
areas abortion is legal only in specific cases such as rape, problems with the fetus,
poverty, risk to a woman's health, or incest. There is debate over the moral, ethical,
and legal issues of abortion. Those who oppose abortion often argue that an
embryo or fetus is a human with a right to life, and so they may compare abortion
to murder. Those who favor the legality of abortion often hold that it is part of a
woman's right to make decisions about her own body. Others favor legal and
accessible abortion as a public health measure.

Do human fetuses have human rights?

of course they do, all people have human rights, if pregnant women has rights
then so is the unborn child, but when we relate it to abortion, it really depends on
the mother of the child if she is willing to give the fetus human rights or just let the
child die

Fetal rights are the moral rights or legal rights of the human fetus under natural
and civil law. The term fetal rights came into wide usage after the landmark case
Roe v. Wade that legalized abortion in the United States in 1973. The concept of
fetal rights has evolved to include the issues of maternal substance use disorders,
including alcohol use disorder and opioid use disorder. The only international
treaty specifically tackling fetal rights is the American Convention on Human
Rights which envisages the right to life of the fetus. While international human
rights instruments lack a universal inclusion of the fetus as a person for the
purposes of human rights, the fetus is granted various rights in the constitutions
and civil codes of several countries. [which?] Many legal experts[who?] believe
there is an increasing need to settle the legal status of the fetus.

Since abortion methods have become safe, laws against abortion make sense only
for punitive and deterrent purposes, or to protect fetal life over that of women’s
lives. While some prosecutions for unsafe abortions that cause injury or death still
take place, far more often existing laws are being used against those having and
providing safe abortions outside the law today. Ironically, it is restrictive abortion
laws leftovers from another age that are responsible for the deaths and millions of
injuries to women who cannot afford to pay for a safe illegal abortion.

Abortion is a moral sin and as well as in spiritual aspect. Abortion involves the
removal of a fetus or a baby inside a mother's womb technically killing it. It
conflicts with the human rights particularly article 3 section 1 which states that 'No
person shall be deprived of life, liberty, property without due process of. To
elaborate, no person is allowed to take someones life even their own and that
includes a baby even in the womb. Although abortion is not always immoral, for
instance, a woman who had an ectopic pregnancy is in need of abortion thus it is
morally right. The fetus which developed in a fallopian tube instead of the womb is
dangerous for the mother, and in order for the mother to survive, abortion must
be done. Abortion depends on how it is used, whether for the good and the right
or just to escape responsibility.

Abortion Statement

If you are on the side of those who are for artificial interruption of the fetus
development process you have to understand the purposes and good qualities of
this action clearly. The disadvantages of this process are always connected with
the women’s health question and moral aspect. If you have chosen the pro-
choice side, we can give you several examples of the thesis statements on this
issue.

A woman has every right to choose what to do with her body whether she will
save the fetus or terminate the fetation, because of the solid reasons. The modern
surgery can release a future mother from the burden of the undesirable baby
delivering after a sexual insult or incest, but nothing can heal the soul. More than
80% of men chose the mother of their baby to be saved during the delivery
processes, but there are many disease and reluctances which may cause death end
to the mother long before the delivery date. Some women have to terminate the
pregnancy period because of some medical factors, medical fetation termination
is the savior of the person’s life. HIV infection dooms a child to a happy, full of
suffering and medicines life, so the way to stop spreading the virus and releasing
the unborn baby is to do an abort. After the HIV boom in the US government force
into application the abortion programs centered on citizens with this virus, such
action led to reducing the HIV infection level. A woman is a person primarily, with
the desires and goals set in her mind, once get pregnant she can ruin all her life
and life of the future baby. The innocent children don’t have to be responsible
for your mistakes and an abortion is the euphemism of to kill the baby.
