1. How does history shape the educational system of any country?

It provides identity and shows us models of good and responsible behaviour, as well as
teaching us how to learn from the mistakes of others. History helps us understand how
society can change and develop.

2. What are the significant contributions of the following fields to education?

a. Philosophy

The study of philosophy helps students to develop both their capacity and their inclination
to do critical thinking. Philosophy courses can also contribute admirably to curricula that
stress more formal modes of logical reasoning, emphasizing the goals of quantitative literacy
and symbolic reasoning.

b. Sociology

One way is that sociology represents education. The study of how people and societies
interact within one another and themselves is, in part, the essence of education. Additionally,
students' backgrounds demand that teachers comprehend how different societies interact
within one other in order to maximize learning.

c. Anthropology

Anthropologists, help us to understand how different societies organize themselves


politically and economically. Anthropologists, increasingly shed light on how complex
social systems are created, established and maintained. It offers insight into the key political
and social issues affecting the world today.
d. Psychology

3. Do you think the information you learned from your professional education courses
are enough to develop your knowledge and appreciation of education as a field of
study? Explain your answer.

It's never enough when it comes to knowledge, why ? because there are many things that
we didin't know. Education is only a starting point. Continuous learning is better than
thinking yourself that you learned enough.

1. What are the characteristics of an ideal learning environment for the students?

Flexibility, openness, access to resources. Flexibility, openness, easy access to resources,


spaces designed to be adaptable with lots of movable partition walls – these characteristics
give students choice in how and when they learn.

2. What type of learning environment should be provided to promote academic


excellence

Being respectful. Being thoughtful to everyone's needs and concerns. Encouraging


Students to as questions and invoking their curiosity. Speaking to everyone in a kind and
respectful manner.

3. What is the role of leaning environment in the development of students’ culture and
character?

Research has shown that an engaged learning environment increases students' attention
and focus, promotes meaningful learning experiences, encourages higher levels of student
performance, and motivates students to practice higher-level critical thinking skills.
