Computer Engineering Design Project 2

Design Project 2 is application of techniques to

design systems that have digital hardware and
software components. Students apply the
theory that acquired from numerous engineering
courses to solve real-world design problems.
Week 1: Orientation

Digital system design involves the

careful consideration of hardware and
software design in areas which are the
cornerstone of the Computer
Engineering discipline.
Week 1: Orientation

In this course, students must be able to propose

the design project, create new designs, evaluate
the effectiveness and cost of each design
alternative, document the design process, and
demonstrate a working prototype of their final
designs that meets the stated specification.
Week 1: Orientation

Researcher must review legal, economic,

ethical, environmental, health and safety issues,
and evaluate the manufacturability and
sustainability of the proposed solution, as well
as possible social and political impact of the
proposed solution. Oral presentation and written
reports are required.
