Nowadays, getting information from the

internet is important for staying updated about

your market and gaining an advantage in your
industry. However, only looking at information on
regular websites is not always enough. There is a
way to access even better information that's not
easily visible. This is called the "deep web," and it
goes deeper than what you can normally see. To
learn more about the deep web and how to get
information from it, let's first understand the
difference between the surface web, deep web,
and dark web.

that everyone can access and find using search
engines like Google. It's like the tip of the iceberg,
where you can see everything above the water.
This part of the web makes up only 4% of all the
information on the internet. It's made up of all the
web pages that are available to the public on
servers that search engines can find. The opposite
of the Surface Web is the Deep Web, which search
engines can't access.
The Deep Web is not visible on regular
search engines and requires specific URLs or
passwords to access. It includes online banking,
web mail, cloud storage, and social media pages
that require registration. It also includes pay-
per-view services and online magazines
/newspapers. The term "Deep Web" was created
by Michael K. Bergman in 2001 to describe parts
of the web that are not indexed by search
engines.

operatives remain untraceable, and it enabled the
Dark Web as we know it. In the 2010s, cryptocurrency
and TOR led to the first black markets, including the
Silk Road, which was shut down but did little to stop

The Dark Web is a dangerous place on the
internet where illegal activities like human trafficking,
selling illegal items (such as guns, drugs, and people),
creating fake documents, and providing paid services
happen. One of the most frightening things is the "Red
Room," where people pay to watch others get brutally
tortured. If you have the knowledge and money, you
can do almost anything on the Dark Web.
The Dark Web was designed for anonymous
information sharing, but many people use it for
illegal activities. However, there are still groups who
help those in need. How people use the Dark Web
depends on their mindset and intentions. It's
important to use the internet wisely and think twice
before giving your access and details to anonymous
sites.
