DAY 1
PART 1. INVESTITURE CEREMONY…….
a. INTRODUCTION:
It was in 1906 when Lord Stephenson Smith Baden Powell initiated the scouting movement to foster and
develop independence, discipline and love of nature to young boy. Three years later, at the memorable crystal
palace rally of the Boy scouts in England , a group of uniformed , self-styled Girl scouts appealed to Lord BP to
form a similar movement for girls. Since then, scouting made a great impact to young boys and girls alike. This
very day, we are celebrating a memorable moment in a boy or girl’s life: to be welcomed into the boy scout and
girl scout organization

GREETINGS:
To our Municipal Mayor, Engr. Carlos F. Lopez, Jr.,Municipal Vice Mayor, Hon. Heidee Ganigan-Chua, Public
Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Rosalina B. Saguiped, to the host Principal IV, Sir Joeseph P. Reyes, District
BSP Field Commissioner, SM Sherwin C. Bugayong, GSP, District Field Commissioner, SL Nelia O. Albay,
General PTA President, Dr. Federico R. Antonio, JR. Fellow SM and SL, guests, scouters, parents, friends,
ladies and gentlemen, A very blissful morning to everyone.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY is one of the most important ceremonies in Scouting. It marks the formal
acceptance of the boys and girls in the movement. It gives them the thrill of belonging to a group and makes
them feel ready to face new responsibilities.

ENTRANCE OF COLORS:
With so much cheer, let us laud the graduands as they march towards the venue. [Colors Enter] Ladies and
Gentlemen, behold the entrance of color.

- We would like to invite everyone to please stand. and let us all feel the presence of our Almighty God, and As
patriotic Pilipino we will sing our national anthem, Pangasinan hymn, Pangasinan ll hymn, all thru an audio
visual presentation.

6. The world always looks brighter behind a smile . It is the universal language of kindness with hearts full of
love and happiness let us festoon our guest of today’s program ,by our school principal to convey the opening
remarks.

7. To help instill the values of good conduct, respect for others, and honesty. The
rededication is a great way for returning members renew their commitment to the Scout Oath and Laws.

8. And now, to keep us inspired throughout this activity, I’d like to call on DR. FEDERICO R. ANTONIO, JR
to give us his message. Let us give him a warm applause.

9. Scouts all over the world live by a code – the scout oath. This scout oath describes the three duties that every
scout embrace the moment he/she becomes a scout. They will now light the three candles that represent these
three duties. To do the honor, may we request SM LYNDON C. PONCE in charge in Young Scouts and SL
Ivette Marie C. Escaño for the Candle Lighting Ceremony for the Junior Scouts, simultaneously.

All kings deserve the crown of integrity. And it is indeed true to our new MR. BADEN POWEL. To do the
honor of crowning MR BADEN POWEL, Municipal Mayor Carlos Lopez, JR will do the honor,

The crown is the highest honor bestowed. So let the crowning of MS ESCODA begins…… and to do the honor
of crowning our MS ESCODA, our Municipal Vice Mayor will do the honor.
