1. Fixed-ratio transmissions

The simplest transmissions used a fixed ratio to provide either a gear reduction or
increase in speed, sometimes in conjunction with a change in the orientation of the
output shaft. Examples of such transmissions are used in helicopters, wind turbines and
power take-offs (PTOs) for tractors.

2.The electric vehicle (EV) market is currently dominated by so-called single-speed

transmissions, which use a fixed transmission to transfer power from the electric motor
to the wheels. Although simple in design, fixed transmissions create conflicting
requirements for the vehicle. At low speeds, the vehicle has to offer good drive-off
performance, resulting in large and heavy designs that have a negative impact on the
car’s ability to accelerate efficiently. Large motors and batteries are also bad news for
the car’s energy consumption, driving range, and cost.

3. Main components of its powertrain are Engine, Transmission and Driveshaft. Power
is generated by the engine and transmitted to the driveshaft. Other internal parts and
components of the engine, differentials, axles, emissions control, exhaust, engine
cooling system etc. are also included in the powertrain.

4. In the Powertrain I already knew the transmission, wheels and in suspension is all
about shocks and shock absorber and in steering I think this is about steering wheel
and power steering. And I think I excel in suspension because its all about shocks.

5. In the Powertrain I already knew the transmission, wheels and in suspension is all
about shocks and shock absorber and in steering I think this is about steering wheel
and power steering. I acquire this knowledge because of studying it
