The Monuments Men is a movie about a group of soldiers tasked with protecting artwork from thieves
during World War II. It follows George Clooney's character, Frank Stokes, and how he recruits a ragtag
squad of "soldiers" and infiltrates the frontlines. Despite losing a few members, the group manages to
locate Hitler's hidden collections of art and prevent its destruction, including the Lady Madonna and the
Ghent Altarpiece. The movie's message related to me and I don't regret seeing it again. It made me
value art even more than I already do.

The movie "The Ghent Altarpiece" caused people to reevaluate their opinions of art, as it was a
significant part of human history. It also highlighted the willingness of some people to risk their lives for
the work, and the notion that we should be careful with what belongs to us. Europe was one of the
oldest and most advanced continents, and the art under discussion was essential to our comprehension
of earlier times. Art is an important part of a nation's culture, and we should appreciate its significance.
We should make sacrifices to preserve the art and locate the missing pieces, just like the monuments’
men. This film has given us a fun and engaging approach to learn and the chance to bring this tale back
to our own communities and share it to inspire us to preserve the world's artistic and cultural creations.
