ABSTRACT

This project introduces the development of a movie recommendation application for Android devices,
aimed at providing users with personalized movie suggestions tailored to their preferences. Leveraging
Android's framework and libraries, the application offers a seamless user experience, allowing users to
discover new movies based on their interests and viewing history.

The system utilizes collaborative filtering algorithms to analyze user preferences and recommend
relevant movies from a vast database. Additionally, the application integrates features such as user
profiles, ratings, and reviews to further refine recommendations and enhance user engagement. The
project emphasizes usability, performance, and privacy, ensuring that user data is handled securely and
transparently.
