I. Problem: What are the conductor materials?

II. Materials: for improvised conductivity tester (https://youtu.be/WuiAGaLFEGs)

copper wire, LED bulb with socket, electrical tape, 9 V battery Video
and 1 popsicle stick clip
For materials to be tested:
pins, thumbtacks, nail, lollipop stick, ruler, salt water, paper, Conductivi
tip of ballpen, chalk and pencil’s lead ty Tester

III. Procedure:
A. Watch the video in making improvised conductivity tester.
B. Then imitate the steps on how to assemble it using the prepared
materials.
C. Dip the copper wires of the tester on salt water to test if it is
functioning.
D. Insert the materials to be tested on other end of copper wire. If
the LED bulb lights up it is conductor, if does not light up it is not
conductor.
E. Record your data similar to the table below.

IV. Presentation of Data

Present your data using the table below.

concepts and 1. What is conductivity tester?
practicing skills #2 2. How do we use it?
3. What happens to the bulb if the material is conductor?
EXPLORE 4. What happens to the bulb if the object is not conductor?
5. So, how can you detect whether the material is conductor or not?
6. While using a conductivity tester, what precautionary measures must
be considered? Why?

F. Developing mastery Directions: Identify whether the following materials are conductor or not. Illustrate Workshee
