(MEASURING VOLTAGE OF PC POWER SUPPLY)

TOOLS: Materials:

 Multi-tester Digital & Analog Bond Paper

 Screw driver (-/+) Pencil
 Anti-Static Wrist Strap Ruler
 Jumper Wire Graphing Paper

Procedures:

1. Insert the power cord to the power ATX Power Supply and to the power source
2. In the ATX power supply you can see the 24 pin. Check for the colors in each pin.
3. Using the Jumper Wire connect the Black wire to the Green Wire and see if the fan behind is
functioning.
4. Using the Multi-tester (DIGITAL)
 Insert the colored black Test probe to the ATX Power Supply Black wire in the 24 pin
 Using the Red Test probe Test the voltage of each colored wires.

Using the Multi-Tester (ANALOG)

 Repeating the same process insert the black test probe to the ATX power supply
 Using the Red Test Probe Test the Voltage of each colored wire
Set the Range Selector as Follows:
Red
Violet Set to 10 Yellow Set to 50
Orange Blue
Grey

 For the Blue wire of ATX Power Supply make sure interchange the Test Probe the Red
probe to the ATX power Supply Black wire and Test using the Black Probe.

5. Make sure to arrange the tools in proper order after using.
