USA Trip: A Creative Writing Journey

Embarking on a 30-day road trip around the USA was a dream come true for me.

Starting off at Washington Dulles International Airport in the capital city of Washington DC I

was filled with excitement and anticipation for the adventures that lay ahead. From bustling

cities to stunning national parks iconic landmarks to meeting fascinating people my journey

across the diverse landscapes of America was truly unforgettable.

As I set out on my road trip I made sure to include all the key points outlined for this

assignment. From the size of the USA's population to exploring different cities national parks

attractions and meeting with native Americans my travel journal was filled with unique

experiences and insights.

The USA is a vast country with a population of over 331 million people making it one

of the most populous nations in the world. It's a melting pot of cultures and diversity which I

experienced firsthand during my journey.

Two big cities that stood out to me were New York City on the East Coast and Los

Angeles on the West Coast. New York City also known as the "Big Apple " is a vibrant

metropolis filled with iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and Times Square. Los

Angeles on the other hand is the entertainment capital of the world home to Hollywood and

beautiful beaches like Santa Monica.

One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Yellowstone National Park known for its

breathtaking scenery and diverse wildlife. From the iconic geysers to the majestic mountains

Yellowstone was a nature lover's paradise.

Exploring famous sights and attractions like the Statue of Liberty Golden Gate Bridge

and the White House gave me a sense of the rich history and culture of the USA. Each

landmark had its own story to tell adding depth to my travel experiences.

As I ventured into the wilderness I encountered unique animals that are found only in

North America. From the elusive wolverine to the majestic bald eagle these animals added an

element of wonder to my journey.

Meeting with a native American was a humbling experience as I learned about their

rich heritage and traditions. Comparing the native people of Sweden with those in the USA

highlighted the cultural differences and similarities between the two indigenous groups.

Following a teenager on a typical school day gave me insight into the American

school system which is different from what I was accustomed to. Comparing it to my own

school system shed light on the strengths and challenges of each approach to education.

Celebrating the 4th of July in the USA was a festive experience filled with fireworks

and patriotism. Comparing it to Sweden's national day on the 6th of June showed me the

unique ways each country celebrates their independence.

Throughout my journey I was inspired by American idols like Mae Jemison and Rosa

Parks who paved the way for future generations. Their stories of courage and resilience

motivated me to pursue my own dreams and make a difference in the world.

In conclusion my USA trip was a transformative experience that opened my eyes to

the beauty and diversity of this incredible country. From the bustling cities to the majestic

national parks I discovered the true essence of America and its people.
