INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Use the complete set of plans of the 2-storey building required per group at the start of the semester.
2. Study and note specifications on the National Building Code, Fire Code, and the Accessibility Law (BP
344), comparing their differences. Make a table of these specifications.
3. Compare the specifications from your plan with those you can find from the code. You can do this per
specification. Include photos of the part of the plan where the dimensions are indicated. Example. Doors

(Include definitions/ descriptions of the things in the list (e.g setback, headroom, cross slope, etc.)

13. Parking requirements (no comparison is needed, just specify number of parking spaces required
for your building)

*Specifications found on the list that might not necessarily be available in your plans, need to be included in
the tables also. Specifics under each letter are only guides and not necessarily the only things that need to
be included. The same goes for those without specifics.
