Instruction Manual

Welcome! You have purchased an RST-TECHNOLOGY 2008 HOME ALARM SECURITY SYSTEM1 which has undergone
36 Hours of thorough testing and strict inspection.

This Instruction Manual will help you connect, install and operate this new Home Alarm System. Please follow it carefully
for a trouble-free experience. Also please feel free to contact me with any questions at xy4587@163.com.

For your convenience, your system's codes and zones of defense have already been matched with the Key Pad before
delivery.

Therefore, the number on each sensor has been matched with its corresponding LED zone and no further adjustment is
needed. Of course, you may modify the codes yourself and the manual has clear instructions on how to do so.

below!!
The system may fail to work correctly if you miss the three steps below

reception hall of your office, etc. They require 3-5min warm-up after changing batteries or codes. Please be aware that any
single area can only support one such sensor. The detection window (the white part) of the sensor should be facing away
from direct sunshine, high temperature or moisture and fixed firmly to avoid vibration.

2) Installation Steps:
a. Connect to the frame of infrared sensor b. Fix the frame c. Hang up the sensor

LED flashes once: power on, starts initialization;

LED flashes twice: completed initialization;
LED flashes 3 times: has detected intrusion, begins to signal;
LED flashes once per second after alarm: battery power is low, replace battery.

Important Notes
 Install the sensor about 2.2m high from the ground, and at least 0.5m over the window
 Walk test regularly
 Do not drop or hit the sensor
 Do not touch the dection window
 Do not install 2 or more sensor in a single defended area
 Avoid any movements in front of the detection window within the first 2min after powering on
 Do not install the sensor on any metal base/unstable wall
 Avoid any blocks between sensor and the defended area
The sensor should be away from direct sunshine/heater/fan/air conditioning/floating or moving object.

6) Usage and Maintenance

The common infrared sensor uses one 6F22 9V battery, while the pet immune infrared detector two LR6, 1.5 V ones..

5
Generally, the battery can be used for approx one year, but when the power is low (the LED will give indications), you need
to replace it.
