Description of the activity and people involved: Today, I engaged in a short orientation at the
cooperating school where I’m assigned. I had the pleasure of spending time with fellow interns,
cooperating teachers, Ma’am Ferlyn, and Ma’am Esperanza, together with the principal as well
as other teachers at the school. It was a fulfilling experience learning about the school’s culture
and expectations.

Role played in the said activity: During the orientation, I actively participated in short discussions
and took notes on the schedules and responsibilities outlined by Sir Dante and the teachers. It
was an enlightening experience, understanding the importance of punctuality, patience, and not
putting too much pressure on ourselves as student interns.

Important Insights: Throughout the orientation, I gained valuable insights into the expectations
and challenges of the teaching internship. The reminders from the teachers about patience,
punctuality, and self-compassion resonated with me. I realized the significance of being
organized and responsible in my duties as an intern and appreciated the understanding and
support from the teachers.

Reflection: Reflecting on today’s experience, I am determined to apply the lessons learned in

my daily life. I plan to approach my internship with patience, adaptability, and a willingness to
learn. By embracing these qualities, I aim to navigate challenges effectively and grow as an
educator. Today served as a reminder of the importance of taking things one step at a time and

FEBRUARY 21, 2024 (WEDNESDAY)

Description of the activity and people involved: Today, I participated in a BLEPT review session
with my classmates. We started with a pretest in Filipino, followed by an activity organized by
our teacher, Ma’am Dye Jean and ma’am Jane, focusing on General Education subjects in the
morning. We were divided into groups of three and engaged in an interactive game where we
selected and answered questions from boxes, earning points based on our decisions. It was a
fun and engaging experience. In the afternoon, we check our answer sheets in Filipino together
with our lecturer ma’am Dulce Amor.

Role played in the said activity: During the activity, I actively participated in the group
discussions and decision-making process. It was exciting to collaborate with my peers and
strategize our moves in the game. I enjoyed the challenge and learned how to work effectively
as a team.

Important Insights: Through this activity, I realized the importance of collaboration and decision-
making in achieving common goals. Working together with my classmates taught me valuable
lessons about teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. These insights will help me
approach future challenges with confidence and adaptability.

FEBRUARY 22, 2024 (THURSDAY)

Description of the activity and people involved: Today, I went to my cooperating school and
when I got there, my cooperating teacher was absent, and the classroom was locked, so there
were no students. Instead, I observed another kindergarten classroom from 1 pm to 3 pm. The
class was very lively and interactive, and I was excited to see how the teacher engaged with the
students.

Role played in the said activity:During the observation, I took on the role of an observer. I
watched how the teacher interacted with the students and how the students responded to
different activities. It was a valuable experience to see teaching methods in action and to
observe the dynamics of the classroom.

Important Insights: From the observation, I gained valuable insights into effective teaching
strategies and classroom management techniques. I learned the importance of creating a
stimulating learning environment and engaging students through interactive activities. This
experience has given me a fresh perspective on teaching and has inspired me to incorporate
more hands-on activities into my own lessons.

Reflection: Reflecting on the observation, I am eager to apply what I have learned in my future
teaching endeavors. I plan to incorporate more interactive and engaging activities into my

FEBRUARY 23, 2024 (FRIDAY)

Description of the Activity and People Involved: Today, I observed my cooperating teacher
during her class. In the morning session, I observed the dynamic interaction between the
teacher and the students. It was impressive to see how engaged the children were in the
lesson. Later in the afternoon, I assisted my cooperating teacher in various classroom activities.
It was a joyful day, as I had the opportunity to introduce myself to the students and get to know
them better.

Role Played in the Said Activity: During the observation, I played the role of a keen observer,
taking note of the teaching techniques and classroom dynamics. Assisting my cooperating
teacher allowed me to experience firsthand the responsibilities of managing a classroom and
supporting student learning. Though it was my first time interacting with the students, their warm
reception made the experience enjoyable and memorable.

Important Insights: Through observing and assisting, I gained insights into effective classroom
management and student engagement strategies. The importance of fostering a positive and
interactive learning environment became evident to me. Additionally, interacting with the
students reaffirmed the significance of building strong teacher-student relationships for effective
teaching and learning.
