Freelance Translator (Position)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my interest in the In-house Spanish Financial Translator at Interactive

Brokers.

I am certified translator Spanish<>English, graduated at OXFORD (California; 2012-2015). I

also made the Teaching Training Course in high education at the same University.

Because of my career, I have a wide knowledge on US law and some knowledge on economics,
accountability and the stock trade. However, this year I will do a specialization on business
translation to deepen my knowledge.

Having worked as a freelance translator for 4 years, I have a deep love and appreciation for it. I
have dealt mainly with certified translations (certificates, diplomas, agreements, transcripts,
among others). However, I have also dealt with non-certified translators. I do really enjoy every
translation-related work and I am always willing to learn more.

I use SDL TRADOS as well as Word Fast. If I had to learn to use any other tools, I wouldn´t
have any problem. Besides, I usually learn with ease.

My experience as a freelance translator made me expand my knowledge in different areas as

well as it made me become time-flexible and efficient when it comes to timing, since some
clients usually require their translations to be done immediately. In addition, I have developed
the ability to do research on any specific subject-matter I have to work on.
