I am submitting the enclosed resume in my application for the professional programme

Finance Department in your company, which I came across on LinkedIn. I am currently in my final
year of International Financial Management and Control at The Hague University of Applied Sciences
and I am searching for a programme where I can conduct my graduation thesis that should take place
in the period of February 21st to June 3rd, 2022. I would love the opportunity to execute my
thesis with you because I’ve always loved figures as a young kid and I’m a very social person. I am
especially interested in your company because Qredits is a well-known company in the Caribbean as
well as the Netherlands, I would like to get more insight on the company and hopefully continue my
career in the Caribbean.

Before I left to the Netherlands to further my studies, I gained a years’ worth of experience at
my fathers accounting firm, Sintacc Accounting, in Sint Maarten, where I also work when visiting.
Here I established flexibility and responsibility while working in a small but dynamic environment.
During this time, my passion for numbers, finance and accounting grew and pushed me to further my
studies in this field. Day-to-day, I had to manage many different tasks such as control of payroll,
coordinate payments, monitor monthly/year-end processes and manage accounts payable. This job
required me to be independent, proactive, ethical, and analytical. Furthermore, I not only work well
independently but I am very comfortable and enjoy working in a team.

I recently carried out my third year internship at Workiva in Amsterdam as a Financial

Reporter, which, I successfully completed while working remotely due to the pandemic. Regardless,
this internship was truly a great learning experience, especially growing up on an island, it has
always been important to me to gain knowledge on an international scale. During my internship, I
was given the opportunity to fulfill various tasks and responsibilities such as preparing the financial
reports to be filed, as well as editing and linking account balances to spreadsheet. I also worked in
various departments for example in the accounting department. Here I was assigned a project for
researching the requirements and tax information when filing a report. Furthermore, I was able to
expand my network and build relationships with peers in the financial industry.

Additionally, following an international study has given me the chance to work with persons
that have various cultural backgrounds. This has helped to develop my communication skills as well
as instil a proactive attitude towards others. Moreover, my native language is English but, I am
equally fluent in Dutch, which is perfect for this job as I can communicate well verbally and in writing
in both these languages. Also, during my study conducting presentations and writing reports were a
focal point, thus I can confidently say that I can present and bring my message effectively across to
any audience. I have developed excellent interpersonal and accounting skills and everything I do is
done to the best of my ability. Lastly, my love for numbers and accounting has also driven me further
into other aspects in the financial field such as investing. I enjoy continuously researching and
expanding my knowledge in various markets in the financial industry and look forward to do so at
this company as well.

In conclusion, I believe I am suitable for this position because my journey to study and work
abroad successfully proves that I am highly committed, resilient, ambitious, willing to learn new
