JOB INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

1. When did you finish the studies?

- I finished my studies in Administration and Finance last year at Zerpa high school
- I did a two year vocational course in A & F

2. Where have you worked so far?

I´ve worked in Santa Lucía Town Hall for two years as an accountant in the accounting
department

3. What languages do you speak?

I speak fluent English and I have some knowledge in German.

I have the B1 certificate in English
At the moment I´m doing a private course in _______to improve my (listening) skills

4. Do you have problems in relocating? Would you move to Madrid?

No, I don´t, If the company needs to send me to another city or country, I haven’t got any
problems, in fact, I´d love to go to Madrid.

5. Why do you think you’re a good candidate for this job?

I´m creative and dynamic, I´m self-motivated and I´m good at organising my time. My track
record in my present job proves that.

6. How do you feel if you had to work overtime?

I´m a very hard working person, I´m used to working to tight deadlines, so normally
I don´t need to work overtime, but if it´s necessary I don´t have any inconvenience

7. How do you work under pressure?

I´m actually very good at working to tight deadlines because I´m very organised,
hardworking and very conscientious when meeting the goals

8. Could you be in charge of the finance department ? Why?

Of course, I would love to work in the finance department because I got my highest
qualifications in that subject at high school. I´m very good with figures and I have
experience working in that department, leading a team of three employees

I understood that this job vacancy was a full-time job, so could you explain me the part-
time conditions?

11. What can you offer this company? Why should we employ you? I´m highly qualified and
I do not have any problem to do overtime. What have you got to offer us? I´m organized
and I´m a hard working person. I carry out operations of management, accounting and
finance very efficiently.

Because,I am responsible, organised, dynamic, I am good at multitasking and in

accounting.

-One fault is that I´m a bit of a perfectionist

-I´d like to be the manager of a whole division in five years

- Yes, I hope to get this job and to be able to continue my studies via internet

16. Your exams results are not as good as they could be, are they?

That is true, but I believe my practical experience since then shows what I can do.
17. I see you didn´t complete your degree at university? Why was that?

- I didn´t complete my degree because I haven't money to pay for the University which is
very expensive.
- I decided that the theoretical aspects weren´t for me and I wanted to gain a practical
working knowledge of the industry
- I decided to train the practical aspects of this profession, I´m not very academic

18. Why are leaving your current job?

-I like my current job but I think that I need a new job to increase my knowledge and to
get more experience.
