STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Studying Business for three years and working from past four years as a marketing executive
has enabled me to not only developing a great understanding of Business Industry but also to
appreciate the technological processes involved.

I Bhupinder Singh, holding Indian Passport No. L1066070, belong to business family of
Hoshiarpur city of Punjab Region. My father Mr. Buta Ram is a business man having his own
business of Agriculture. My mother Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur is running a Boutique. My brother Mr.
Lakhvir Singh is currently studying in New Zealand. I had completed my Secondary and Senior
Secondary Education from Punjab School Education Board and achieved second and first
division respectively. I graduated in April 2014 with commerce stream specialization in e-
commerce from S.D College, Punjab in first division. During my graduation, I completed
foundations subjects of business like business economics, business accounting, management,
marketing management and commercial labor laws. After enhancing my theoretical knowledge,
I started working at ITMS Education College as a Marketing Executive from October 2014 and
worked till July 2018. I left this job after almost four years because while working, I was facing
so many issues regarding management, use of new techniques and the time management, use of
resources. Somewhere, I was lacking with the theoretical Knowledge of reaching to the
ambitions of business organizations. Later I have discussed the concerns with my brother that
what I am facing, so he suggested me to undergo some training sessions or to complete a
certificate program. Which can enable me to succeed my goals and give me a practical balance of
management as well? He also suggested me to apply into an international institution because he
knows the value of studying in abroad.

Aside to my keen interest was in business begun when I took admission in Bachelor and choose
to study Bachelor of Commerce honors with specialization in e-commerce. During study, I
attended many marketing and business seminars held within the university and organized by
other authorities. At same time, I developed interest for learning the Accounting, Marketing,
Management and the procedure to implement the strategies and other methodologies to run the
organization into a smooth flow. As our global community continuously expanding, and with the
increased interest and dependence on world trade, the industry of importing and exporting goods
are in huge demand reason being I have decide to explore my knowledge in the same field and
decide to pursue my higher education from abroad as Individuals trained in Import/Export will
be familiar with the details of the regulations and laws that govern world trade, as well as be
privy to the current dialogues and rhetoric of the international market.

Therefore, I started searching for the countries which can provide me a platform best to my
knowledge and skills. So, I have chosen Canada because it has reasonable cost of all expensive
than the other counties. Canada has always won many awards for providing best education to
student that too with peaceful environment. It is also multicultural countries which help
international students for stabling themselves knowing new things and create excitement for
learning Canada has advanced educational theories, technologies and information which
facilitate immensely in the achievement of remarkable academic progress, fulfilling my
aspiration to become an accomplished professional in the field of education. This will not only
bring my patriotic fervor into reality but also make my life more meaningful and rewarding.

For gaining best education I have decide to go for Herzing College because of their many of
attractive aspects. Like college is a total bland of theoretical and practical work which aims to
train students to practice various job functions in the areas of international trade. Representatives
in this program provide various functions like evaluate company's potential to export goods
identify the financial resources in global context, participate in the development of globally
marketing & financial exportation plan and strategy. Manage client accounts be they;
exporters, importers, wholesalers, manufacturers etc., with regards to the clearance of goods
entering or leaving a country. It also has graduate employment rate of 97% which is proven for
success rate.
Chosen program as per career is International commerce and export/Import. This program will
enhance my skills because this program teaches students valuable skills recommended by the
Forum for International Trade Training (FITT), which will provide all the tools necessary to
eventually become a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) Areas of study include
research in international business, legal aspects of international trade, law and business ethics,
spreadsheets and databases and financial mathematics. The contents which I will be studying are
Global Business environment, International trade Research/finance provides, Legal Aspects of
International Trade, International marketing etc. Training will also be provided in business
management fields of Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Enterprise Management, and Business
Application Software. Program will make me able to earn between $29,120 – $33,280 as I will
be having opportunities to join companies in customs, export trading, or as an import/export
merchant with various Job titles like- Sales Representative, Customs Official, Import/Export
Merchant, Import/Export Clerk

As far as my family background is concerned, I belong to a financially stable family in India.

My family is ready to sponsor my education and living expensesat Canada.
