Fidget spinners have been a remarkable invention. These devices have truly revolutionised
schools in an impressive fashion. According to studies they have been shown to propel
students into the upper echelon of their respective subjects as a result of the boost in
concentration and memorisation these fidget spinners come to offer. Moreover the use of
fidget spinners and fidgeting in general has been displayed to be vital for the students both
physically when it comes to their physical appearance such as maintaining satisfactory body
fat and their mental consciousness such as the psychological aspects of the mind to reduce
stress.

Firstly the topic of fidgeting has been commonly disliked by parents and teachers alike for
many years due to it being unfairly presented as a method that distances the average
student from their academic studies but in retrospect extensive research conducted by
intelligent individuals in the field has shown that the act of creating images significantly
increases the odds of students memorising key facts and assists students with attention
issues to perform at a higher standard when they have an object within the palm of their
hands granting students the opportunity in exceeding expectations during examinations. On
the other hand fidgeting could also pose as a disadvantage as the act of fidgeting causes the
mind to wander which could impact concentration and could result in the inability to do well
academically but to refute these claims its very difficult to conclude that the reasons for their
poor performances are from fidgeting. There are many other factors that can interfere with
students' learning such as misbehaviour and problems with the teachers themselve .
Furthermore fidgeting isn't only exclusive to children it also occurs with individuals at an old
age with the act of fidgeting being very diverse although the devices in question the fidget
spinners are more marketed towards teens and young adults as they are usually the
audience who are more prone to distractions.

Secondly students tend to deal with high amounts of stress and pressure which can in turn
result in students losing their motivation and self confidence which is potentially detrimental
towards their advancement in education. However, fidgeting acts as a solution to many
students' problems as it keeps their minds at ease and relieves their stress similarly keeps
students entertained because let's be honest school can get very tedious at times especially
when it comes to subjects that students have no interest in and are only attending just
because they may have been forced to attend but fidget spinners serve as tools to keep
students animated and in check which could result in students being more engaged in the
subject itself. In addition mental consciousness is not the only advantage fidgeting provides
although it may be difficult to comprehend but the physical appearance of students also
being to develop as a result of the constant movement of muscles in the limbs this is rarely
covered on the media because the media are trying to present fidget spinners in a bad light
to make it seem like a device with no real positive impact on students although their
intentions and motives are unclear regardless it is factual to state that these devices keep
students and adults in shape both mentally and physically which is why i also think fidget
spinners are also very useful for teachers because it reduces their burden of work and keeps
the level of stress and pressure of teaching at a satisfactory level because as students we
understand that teachers are also not immune to feeling stressed out and we support the
fact that teachers should also be given the right to fidget to assist us in achieving the best
that we can.

In conclusion I think that my views on fidget spinners have been made evident as proven
above. I think both students and teachers can benefit from these gadgets equally. They also
show us how far the human race has progressed that we can make devices that can help us
achieve greater heights in our daily lives. Students can be given the opportunity to prosper in
education and make the process of learning much more simpler than the process of learning
50 years ago. In particular, rates of stress have been rising in the last decade so having a
way to combat it with these gadgets is a big achievement. Teachers are also able to teach
with more freedom and passion due to them not having to deal with the pressure of having to
grade papers on time and having to deal with negative thoughts regarding what students'
opinions are on them as fidget spinners erase all the negative feelings enclosing the mind
and making them feel more thrilled with their position. I really hope this letter shed a new
light and opened up a new view of fidget spinners. I will be patiently awaiting your response.
