FOREWORD
DEM KRAT | PRU18
Dear fellow Malaysians,
It gives me great pleasure to present to you our party's manifesto for the
upcoming 10th general election. First and foremost, I would like to thank
our Former Prime Minister for his hard work in shaping our nation into a
democracy after the Absolute Monarchy period. As we mark this
significant milestone in our party's history, we are reminded of our
commitment to serving the people of our country and providing them
with the leadership and policies that they need and deserve.
Over the past few years, our party has worked tirelessly to build a strong
and united movement that represents the hopes and aspirations of our
citizens. We have fought hard for the values that we believe in fairness,
equality, justice, and freedom. We have worked to build a more inclusive
and prosperous society for all.
Our manifesto reflects this commitment to our core values and principles.
It is a comprehensive plan that outlines our vision for the future of our
country and the policies that we propose to make that vision a reality.
We are committed to building a more inclusive and diverse society, where
everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of
their background or circumstances.
We invite you to read our manifesto carefully, ask questions, and engage
with us in a constructive and open dialogue. We believe that this election
is an opportunity for our country to choose a better path, to choose a
brighter future. We are ready to lead that change, and we hope that you

OBJECTIVES
Strengthening the bond
between Communities
Our plan is to make initiatives that can help increase
interactions between communities in MYS and can
directly increase the bond between them to create a
more unified Malaysia. These initiatives will be
organised by the Government Initiative Office.

Creating programmes that can

help the Citizens
We plan to create programmes that can help citizens in
every way possible from businesses to safety. Our
planned programmes are MyBusiness, MediLink and
many more to create a more harmonious Malaysia that
can help to make a more self-sustainable Malaysia in a
long term.

Staying committed to improving projects

started in the previous term
We plan to stay committed to projects that we
started last term and to improve the projects
which can directly help the citizens to improve
their daily experience. The projects are such as the
Chamber of Commerce, BizConnect and many
more.

HOME AFFAIRS
Judiciary and legal
profession
Last term, it was announced that the
Ministry of Justice would be shut down,
in line with the Group Administration's
plans to eventually close the sector.
However, as the Government and laws
still exist, judges and lawyers are
required to play an advisory role to help
make sure that laws are still being
followed.
What our judges and lawyers will be
doing going forward must be clearly
defined. We will work with the Group
Administration and legal figures to
define this and amend our laws where
necessary so that Malaysians can
understand how to use our legal
system with this major change
happening.
Police Association
The past government has worked
tirelessly in the creation of the Police
Association and we intend to do so too.
With the increasing demand from our
National Police Force, the PDRM, we
intend to increase the speed in the
creation of the Police Association to
host a suite of services that will be
available to all police officers, including
legal consultations and social activities.
We also would improve the Police
Association so there would be better
communication between the PDRM
and the citizens to create a safer
community.
MediLink
We will implement a programme
called MediLink in the health sector.
This will be led by a team comprising
government officials and medical
professionals and will be responsible
for planning and coordinating events
related to health, such as public health
events and outreach.
MediLink will enable the Government
to advertise and promote the health
sector better, as well as connect more
Malaysians to the health system.
DBKL
DBKL or Kuala Lumpur City Hall is what
has been awaited by many and will
soon be implemented by this
government. We plan to set sail
smoothly by appointing a reliable and
experienced person in charge as the
Mayor of DBKL.
Furthermore, the Federal Government
will be working tirelessly into shaping
the DBKL as it was once known in the
community and enforcing the City Hall
laws effectively in Bandar to promote a
safer and more engagement in the
community.

FINANCE

Greater business More variety in the

activity under
BizConnect
BizConnect is a government initiative
that started last term to connect
businesses to more Malaysians and
encourage activity. A Chamber of
Commerce has been set up under this
initiative and is still in its early stages.
Managed by a team of professionals,
the Chamber of Commerce has the
following activities planned:

businesses to be set up, ranging from
technology (game development)
companies to law firms and advertising
firms. More diversity will give
Malaysians more options in choosing a
job.
The Chamber of Commerce will do
research on what kinds of businesses
will be feasible and doable and how we

ensuring Malaysia’s values are
represented internationally, in
organisations such as the United
Nations and Commonwealth, if elected
we will continue on the path of
ensuring that Malaysia is an active
player on the global stage, whether it
be in the UN, Commonwealth or treaty
obligations.
Ensuring Malaysia
retains its UNSC seat
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall
endeavour to continue to have
Malaysian representatives in the United
Nations Security Council, a vital organ
for international affairs where we can
ensure that the interests of Malaysia
and its allies are defended through our
delegations.
Enhancing
Commonwealth
cooperation
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will seek
to be more involved within the
Commonwealth and seek out
prospective areas where further
cooperation between Commonwealth
members and Malaysia can be
achieved, ranging from business
transfers to joint sharing of experience
and knowledge between the private
sectors and public sectors of each
nation.

TRANSPORT

need help in fulfilling the requirements

Vocational License (ODVL).

MOCM.CONNECT
MOCM.CONNECT will be a social media
account focused on delivering
information and knowledge about
journalism, content creation,
marketing, and more. The main
objective of MOCM.CONNECT is to
simplify the deliverance of knowledge
so that all category audiences can
consume it. In addition to its primary
focus on journalism, content creation,
and marketing, MOCM.CONNECT will
also explore topics related to history,
culture, and more. By diversifying its
content, MOCM.CONNECT aims to
become a comprehensive platform that
caters to a wide range of interests and
knowledge levels

Bringing MediAkademi
to greater heights
MediAkademi is an educational
initiative proposed by
BernardGTempler, the former Minister
of Communications and Multimedia. In
his words, MediAkademi is envisioned
as a library that will provide aspiring
journalists with accessible educational
materials. With the upcoming launch of
MediAkademi, we have been
deliberating on the next steps for
MediAkademi.
We plan to hold a lecture session for
these aspiring journalists who want to
know more about the media field.
These lectures will be held depending
on MediAkademi’s staff availability
itself.
As MediAkademi is an educational
initiative, we have decided to explore
additional avenues to efficiently deliver
knowledge. Holding lecture sessions for
people is a great way to convey that
knowledge, as it offers communicative
advantages. Other improvements and
upgrades in MediAkademi may be
done in accordance and agreement
with MediAkademi.

Media Company of the Keep the MCMC on

As a gesture of appreciation to activity
dedicated media companies, we are
reintroducing something previously
implemented by the previous
government called 'Media Companies
of the Week'. We believe that media
companies that consistently deliver
high-quality and accurate news deserve
recognition and should serve as positive
examples for other media
organizations.
However, we have decided to
reimplement it as Media Company of
the Month so that a reward in the form
of robux can be considered for
companies who won. We have planned
to propose a new supply bill for this
matter.
Last term, the Ministry of
Communications and Multimedia
made efforts to increase the activeness
of MCMC. However, we expect even
better results this term. We will closely
examine areas that can be improved to
make MCMC more active again.
For instance, we will prioritize the
creation of official MCMC regulations.
Additionally, we will focus on
organizing the department to enhance
work efficiency. There are other areas
that require attention as well, and we
are committed to doing our best to
achieve better outcomes.

The motive behind reintroducing this

practice is to incentivize media
companies to prioritize dedication and
integrity in their news reporting, rather
than reporting news with minimal
effort.

Continuation of
community Sports
Activities
In-game sports/competitions, for
example, Trialthon & Shortfilm
Competition, or even Hari / Minggu
Sukan Negara - for communities that
like to create Bandar videos and share
them on social media.
Sports activities were actively hosted
last term, and we are on the right
momentum to carry it on and do even
better.
New developments in
Education
Last term, we moved an Education Bill
through Parliament, to allow us to
create formal authority on Education
and push for education as an official
part of MYS. This term, we will be
implementing it, making education a
more organised outfit with clear
leadership. With this, we will be able to
promote the sector well and give
people a good education experience by
working as ONE education community.

Keeping Football
Activity Up
Because what we did last term was
successful - great participation, even
non-MYS members have joined as well.
We will continue the Football Cup or
restart MFL (if we get enough resources
to do it). Surely, there is room for
improvement, and besides continuing,
we will always be on the lookout for
how we can improve.
Improve JOMAktif! and
Hello!YB
While JOMAktif! and Hello!YB were
implemented last term, they are not
perfect yet. We will continue to make it
better and ensure that these two
initiatives turn into something that will
serve the community for the long run.
Last term we had activities such as
Skateboarding. This term, we will look
for more sources of activity, actively
seek out and help citizens who have
created their own sports activities by
using government platforms to help
promote it.
