Write a few sentences or a short text about your studies and your school.

Include:

 What your favourite subject is and why: Mi asignatura favorita es… porque…
 What some of the school rules are: En el instituto, no se puede… pero se debe…
 What extracurricular activities there are: Después de las clases hay… Participo en…
 Your plans for next year: El curso que viene, tengo la intención de… y también voy a…

Tips
 Try to use a variety of opinion verbs: me encanta, me aburre, me entretiene, me anima, me
apasiona, me da igual. Remember to add an –n to the verb if the subject is plural!
 When talking about what your favourite subject used to be, you need to use the imperfect
tense:
Antes, me gustaba más el/la… = Before, I used to like… most.
Mi asignatura favorita era… = My favourite subject was…
 See if you can bring in an exclamation with ¡qué…!, when talking about subjects or school
rules.
 When talking about your plans for next year, remember to use future expressions:
voy a…, tengo la intención de…, espero…

As a minimum: you must write at least five sentences and complete all the tasks required.
To get a better mark: after talking about your favourite subject, add another subject that you also like.
When saying which activities you take part in, give a reason why you do so and give your opinion of
the activity.
