As the LPG kit was installed new the cut off valve works fine and cuts of most of the time at
around 31 to 33 liters which is around 80% of the tank water capacity.

On 15th February 2024, in Pudhukottai ALDS the vehicle was filled around 38.660 liters
which is less than the tank water capacity but the dispenser was stopped by the customer
forcefully while it’s running in the full speed.

After careful examination of the dispenser by our experienced maintenance manager Mr.
Prakash we came to the conclusion that there is micro tear in the diaphragm valve which
leads to backflow of LPG to the tank without entering the vehicle.

We said apologize to the customer and he accepted it and says he is a loyal customer of KR
Fuels and will continue to fill in the KR Fuels stations only. So as per the instructions from
Mr. Venkatesh sir i collected the bank account number of the customer and loss he occurs
details to refund.

The details as follows,

On dry condition the vehicle fills full tank of LPG in our Salem, Uthamasolapuram station
for 33.01 liters for Rs. 1979.61. Vehicle’s mileage is 11 km per litre. While reaching the
Pudhukottai his km reading was around 325 kms. So there was around 3.5 liters of LPG in
the tank as per the details.
So, in Pudhukottai he filled for 38.66 liters, where it gives the mileage of around 315 kms
only. So 25.15 liters only dispensed in the pudhukottai station instead of 38.66 liters. So
there is short of 13.50 liters.

LPG dried out in Kalayarkovil after travelling to all the nearby business visits and he runs in
petrol to reach nearest KR Fuels station Melur, on the way to Madurai. Where he fills the
tank in dry condition for 31.23 liters.

So the amount of refund would be around – 13.50 * 60.81 = Rs. 820 /-
