This are moisture absorbers that help keep things dry. Their job is to stop moisture from making
things like mold or ruining stuff, and made from a substance called silica gel. Silica gel packets consist
of small beads of silica commonly known as silicon dioxide which originates from components such as
sand. Silica gel packets is commonly found in various products and applications like shoeboxes,
electronic devices or medicine bottle.

Silica in desiccant is important or beneficial because too much moisture can harm items. Using silica
gel will dry up any excess water, allowing you to protect your valuable belongings and keep them in
