Medication

● Ensured that the patient’s knew the enough quantity of the medication
● Emphasized to the patient’s the importance of adhering to the prescribed therapeutic
regimen.
● Health teachings on the medications ordered.

1. Amlodipine 5mg OD (Hours of Sleep) >Take your medication once a day before
going to bed at night.

Exercise

● Encourage the patient to do exercises like walking and stretching during the recovery
phase.
● Advised the patient's to avoid strenuous activity during the recovery period.

Treatment

Advised the patient’s to have enough time to rest. Provided clear instructions for the timely
consumption of medications. Encouraged loved ones to offer emotional assistance to the patient.

Hygiene

● Encouraged SO and the patient to always maintain a clean and safe environment.
● Educate the patient with the proper health care and personal hygiene.

Outpatient
● Instructed the patient and SO to return for a follow up checkup within the Doctor’s Order.
● Advise the patient to undergo a checkup if there are any signs of adverse effects from the
medication.
● Advise the patient to return for additional laboratory tests and a follow-up checkup.

Diet

● Instruct the patient to continue with the habit of eating vegetables and fruits while
limiting the intake of fatty and salty foods.
● Instruct the patient to limit the intake of carbohydrates and foods with high sugar content.
● Encouraged the patient to maintain the oral fluid intake of at least 2 liters per day.

Spiritual

● Encouraged the patient and SO the importance of praying and having faith.
● Encouraged the patient and the SO to continue the strong communication with God.
● Encouraged patients and SO to attend physical or virtual mass to strengthen their faith
especially in trying times.
