When You Were Sweet Sixteen

The version of “When You Were Sweet Sixteen” provided by the website is a song sung by
Harry MacDonough. The song was written by James Thornton in 1898 and it was inspired by
his wife, Bonnie. It is a popular belief that James got the idea when his wife asked him if he still
loved her, to which he replied: "I love you like I did when you were sweet sixteen.”

Representative Women, L. Prang & Co.

Representative Women, created in 1870, features portraits of seven women who actively
engaged in fighting for women’s rights. It centers on Anna Elizabeth Dickinson and
shows the unity of the movement as well as the individual characteristics of each
woman: Lucretia Coffin Mott, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Mary Livermore, Lydia Maria
Francis Child, Susan B. Anthony, and Sara Jane Lippincott.

The website did not provide a lot of detailed information so I had to look at other
websites to give better explanations.
