"Saw" Jayden requested as his voice trails on in the
quiet theater where a surgery is going on.
"Towel" he demanded again stretching his hand to

the nurse who quickly handed it over.
He carefully grasped the affected area
He stretch his hand again, this time around the

nurse ain't to be told what he needs.
She handed over a neatly sterilized scissors to him.
"Do you think the surgery will be successful?

Doctor Kim asked his colleagues.
"Are you a learner? As far as Jayden is incharge of
that operation it is a success already" Doctor Clara
replied.
They keep watching intently from the glass door

how Jayden handle the operation neatly.
"Operation a success, she will be awake in the next

four hours" Jayden said before walking out of the
theater.
As soon as they notice Jayden coming out of the

theater, the scamper to their various post.
"Clara, meet me in my office" he said as he saw

clara running back to the ward.
She just nodded nervously.
Clara POV
Oh my gosh, what did i do now?
"Sorry Clara, i think you are about to lose your

job"Kim said and i burst out crying.
I summon courage and went to Jayden's office.
I knocked at the door waiting for approval to go in.

"Come in" i heard the cold voice of Jayden
gesturing me in.
Hearing his voice my heart limped a bit.
As i take a deep breath before heading in.
"Sir, you call for me" i said sitting down.
"And who told you to sit? His cold voice landed on

my ear like a bomb.
"Sorry sir" I quickly apologized and stood up.
My hands behind me, I was shaking as at what I did

this time around.
After what seems to me like eternity, he looked up

with his cold aura.
"How many years have you worked in this hospital

Clara " he questioned.
"This is the third year professor " I retorted

respectively.
"Good, I go through the past records in the hospital

and I found out something.
You injected a pregnant woman who was sick with
Citrus flux and a bottle of seraphim, what the hell
were you thinking while doing that? He said with a
very powerful aura that I felt intimidated for life.
I never knew that this case is gonna be brought up,

I would have clear it up.
"Am sorry " was my only statement.
"You killed two person in a day, the mother and the

unborn baby but you're just sorry?
"Am sorry sir, please forgive me" I pleaded kneeling

down
He pick up the telephone and make a call
Minutes later the police came and handcuff me.
"Please Jayden, forgive me " I yelled as I was been

dragged away.
But he played a deaf ear.
The hospital was filled with mixed emotions as my

colleagues, the nurses and some patient came out
of there different places to watch the ruckus going
on.
I so much hate you Jayden, you will regret it.

I don't work with murderers, incomplete people.
To save a life is what I do and not to kill it.
I'm Jayden, the young Changan hospital professor.
This is my second year of working with this

hospital.
My family is the Choi family of "Choi empire"
We're the top two richest family in the world.

I don't really care much about business and all that.
What I love doing is what am doing.
Since my years of learning and working too bad no

woman have caught my fancy yet.
Though I receive lots of pestering for me to at least

have a girlfriend.
The whole world thinks that the heir to "Choi

How in the world could they think that?

As I was still mesmerized in my thought an
emergency button ranged and I dash out of my
office.

mom who keep hitting me with her flip flop.
"If you come back to this house without selling all

the breadfruits I'll skin you alive " she howled
I quickly rushed out of the house with the breadfruit

on my head.
My life has been a living hell since my mom's

death.
My stepmother practically makes life hell for me to

live in.
After selling the breadfruits I'll start going to my

numerous part time job for money which she will
collect from me to pay her children school fees
instead.
My father whom have turned to a drunkard couldn't

do anything about my wailing.
Is my life worth living?

After selling the breadfruits, I counted my money
happily before heading home.
At least I'll be save from my step mom's brutal

treatments.
As I jump happily on my way home, my money

which I counted and put in my bag was snatched
from me as the thief drive away in his motorcycle.
I was dumbfounded, I couldn't move.

I sit down in the middle of the road wailing.
After suffering to make the money, it was stolen by

someone else, still I'll be announced a thief by my
stepmother.
How I wish I was a little bit more careful.
What punishment will my step mom give me today.
I roll from one side of the road to another urging the

drivers to kill with their various motors.
"Kill me I wanna die" I yelled.
A lady of my age step down from her car and walk

towards me.
She stare at me for a while and signal her guards to

raise me up.
What caught my attention was that the crowd

bowed to her when they notice her.
Who could this be?
We were both staring at each other without

breaking the stare.
"Why are you laying down on the road, do you want
to die? She yelled at me making me flinch.
I started getting scared of this lady.
I sniff and clean my eyes with the back of my palm.

She took my hand and dragged me to her car.
"Drive us to a quiet place " she ordered her driver

I woke up late cus of the caesarian patient I
operated on last night.
It took pretty much of my time.
I wore my flip flop and headed downstairs.
"Good morning master" was the words coming from

my workers.
"Good morning my son" Chip in Mrs Ji.
I just nodded and went out to my car which I drove

to work yesterday to pick the heart record of the
lady I'll be operating on today.
After picking it I headed back to my room.
I stop living with my parents when I was still in high

school.
I built my mansion when I entered college.
I don't really need people around me.
Yea am an introvert guy who loves to be totally

alone.
We're just two, my parent gave birth to just two

children.
I and my sister.
Though my sister live in America, she hate coming

down to Korea cus we're both the same set of
people "Introverts".
My family is the type many family wished for cus

we're rich, but what they don't know is that the

I went to my study and review the heart record for

After having my bath I was drove to the hospital by

Who could that lady be?
She's so cold.

I looked at my rag dress and picture the dressing of

the lady but there was no connection at all.

before heading to my morning part time job.
On my way I call up on my friend Runa.
"Runa, let's go " I said as she came out fully dress

in her low class cloth just like mine.
We trek on and sometimes we run in order to save

ourselves from the anger of the cafe manager.
We get to work and put on our work uniform, before

going to our different posts.

going to work?

I waited patiently for her to come and pick her next

What the hell is she saying? I'm not a thief, I have

" I protest but she cut me short.

I quickly have a change of clothing before heading

to the restaurant where I work alone.
I know that am in for a deep shit when I return from
work Cus Sandra will make it hell for me.

After a long treks and runs I found myself in front of

the middle class restaurant I am working in.
Suffering is an understatement where I am, rather

say that am wallowing in hell, I'll only eat once in a

Am here in this annoying country again filled with
annoying set of peoples.
The girl I met earlier today, she is a full time

psycho, how can she try to die just because of
that?

Its been long I last saw him, I wonder how he looks

On entering the theatre a breath of relieve escaped

their lungs.
"Let's get started" I said trying to get my mind

focused on the heart record of last night.
After what seems like forever, the surgery 🏥 came

to an amazing end.
I went out of the theater and make my way back to

my office.
On getting there, I met the least expected.
"Hi bro" she greeted with a smirk.

"Danielle? I asked in shock.
I wasn't expecting her here, no I wasn't expecting

her in Korea at all.
What happened?
"Why are you here? I found myself asking.
"It has been ten years bro, don't you miss me? Of

I know she is trying to use me as an excuse, cus

"Danielle, why are they so many tattoos on you?

You're a lady for Christ sake, you can't just have a

up.

I change back to my outfit and enter my inner
chamber to rest.
After clearing all my appointments for the day, I

went straight home.
On getting there I found out that Danielle isn't there.

I went up to my room and have a cool shower
before laying on the bed.
Few hours later I woke up feeling better.
I took a fresh shower and wore my clothes ready to

hit the club.
I put a call through to my only friend "Dan"

📱Yea, pick me up" he said before hanging up.
First time in two years that I will be visiting a club
house.
I enter one of mg car and zoom off, I decided to
drive myself tonight cus I wanna have fun to the
fullest.

"Tell me you're joking Jiso, how can you be that
stupid " I asked when she told me everything I need
to know.
"Am just trying to. Play the good girl role" she cried.
I hate seeing her like this, she had suffered alot.

holding my hand happily.

Jayden drove straight to Dan house where he pick
him up and drive to the club.
On getting there he sit at the bar sipping his drink

while Dan went for a catch.
Though lots of ladies admire him, his cute face that

looks like that of an idol though he wasn't interested
in any woman.
Main reason why people suspect him to be a gay,

but he doesn't care.
Just as he was drinking a young girl in her teens

sat beside him.
Jayden looks at him and there eyes meet while the

girl flash him a smile but he keep his cold aura
intact.
The girl on noticing this decided to try her luck.
"Hi" she tried to start a conversation.
"Why are you being a nuisance huh? You can join

your mates at the dance floor okay? Jayden said
and the girl's jaw dropped.
She walked away totally embarrassed.
Jiso and Runa on the other hand make there way

to Jiso's house.
On getting there Sandra was already waiting for
Jiso with full fury.
"Good evening Omma" Jiso greeted.
"Good evening Ahjumah" Runa greeted with a side

smirk.
"Jiso where did you get the money from? Sandra

asked in a gentle tone.
Jiso explained things to her as she pay attention to

what she was saying.
"So this last handed you a bundle of dollars? She

asked in disbelief
"Yes mom"Jiso retorted

"Okay, go and prepare dinner " she said and turn to
her room.

I can't believe that she let me off just like that is this
really Sandra?
I dragged Runa inside the kitchen as she was also

staring at me in total confusion.
"What just happened back there? Sandra just let

you off how possible is that? She asked when she
later found her voice.
"Am confused as well, maybe she's sick or

something " I said washing the pot.
"I'll be going then, I'll visit you later tomorrow " she
said
"Lemme see you off" I said and clean my hands.
I saw her off to the road and wave at her she turn to

but I couldn't place it.
She started running toward me in panic.

In a twinkle of an eye I found myself laying in my
own pool of blood.
I was ran over by a car.

I was feeling tipsy that my eyes started counting
one as two.
Dan was nowhere to be found, I struggle my way

out of the club and rumble my wallet in search of
my car key.
I opened the door and ignite the engine, I drove off

not knowing if I can drive for long as I speed out on
the high way.
in a short while I was already at my mansion, I

came down from the car and stagger inside the
house trying to maintain my position on the ground.
I went up stairs and slumbed on my bed as I drifted

to sleep.
After sleeping for a while, my phone started ringing

thereby waking me up from sleep.
I tiredly pick it up.

Not looking at the caller I received it and place it on
my ear.
"Hello" I voiced out.
"Doctor, we have an emergency " the voice said

from the other side.
"Call Kim or seung wo, just call anyone else am

tired" I said before she could reply I disconnected
the call.
I know that its nurse Kim, she's one kind crazy

woman.
She might end up knocking at my door tonight.
Let me catch some sleep.
Jiso was rushed to the nearest hospital which is

Changan.
She was losing so much blood that the available

doctors have to tend to her quickly.
The blood was stopped but then she received a

deep cut in her stomach and a quick surgery needs
to be done.
But the person who is supposed to carry out the
hospital is not around will Jiso survive this?
Runa called Sandra and told her what happened

but she care less.
Runa was confused and at the same time scared

for her friend.

Jayden's attitude is becoming annoying each
passing day.
Though I like the fact that he is not here and I'll be

in charge of this surgery.
Ever since he started working in this hospital no

one have ever recognize who I am.
I wonder why he is working in this hospital while he

can possibly build a bigger one for himself.
Kids from a rich home behaving like brats.
I don't blame him though.
All thanks to him I'll be handling this surgery😋

"Will you come over yo the Opt(Operation theater)
or you want someone to die? Nana yelled joting
me outta my thoughts.
I hurriedly change to the theater dress code and

dash out of my office.
I enter the theater and saw the laying figure.
I wish to save you beauty, I hope I can.

"I trust you Kim, even if Jayden is not here you will
do a good job, fighting " she said boasting up my
courage.
I breathed in and collect the scalpel from the tray

the nurse was holding.
I open up the girl's stomach and started cleaning

the wounded area.
I cut the affected part of her stomach, after much

doing and undoing I stitch her up.
I was pleased with myself that I succeeded in the

surgery.
Now my name will be recognized by folks out there

who thought that there is no other good surgeon in

I was still engrossed in my thought when the noise

call for my attention.
"What's going on? I asked the panicked nurse Kim
"She is not breathing " she retorted
"What? , check the blood if it's still in fusing "I

ordered in panic.

"Connect the oxygen immediately " I ordered.

A knock woke me up.
"Come in" I ordered and a maid came inside my

room.

and went out.
After sleeping for sometime the tipsy I felt earlier

clear from my eyes.
I decided to take a bath but decide against it.
I need to see the intruder who came here by this

time if the night.
I wear my flip flop and stroll out of my room.
I climbed downstairs and was surprised to see

Nana in my mansion.
"Nana? I called since she was backing me.
She turned swiftly and face me.
"Thank goodness you're here Prof, there was an

emergency at the hospital and since you said you
were tired we allowed Kim to carry out the surgery.
After the surgery, it turns bad as the patient

stopped breathing " she stated.
"What? Let me get my car key" I said and rushed

upstairs to my room.
I came back again in my casual night dress.
I enter my car and drove off while Nana did the

same.
After what took like fifteen minutes drive we arrived

at the hospital.
I came down from my car and rushed inside the

hospital.
I can't let another person to die in this hospital due

to a common carelessness.
A nurse quickly hand over the theater dress to me

and I wore it immediately.
"Where is the surgery taking place? I asked Nana
who was still trying to catch her breath.
"Upstairs, Opt number 50" she said and I run up.
I entered the Opt and the nurses breath in relieve.
Kim was already sweating profusely.
"Let me" I said and he pave way for me.
I used my stethoscope and check the girl but just

like it was said she wasn't breathing.
I immediately noticed that something went wrong

during the surgery.
"Scalpel " I ordered and the nudes brought in a new

sterilized equipment.
I open her up again and started searching for the

mistake, then it occur to me that he stitched up the
skin with her bone making it impossible for her to
live after that.
I cut out the stitches and clean up the mess before

reattaching it again.
I stitched up her stomach and check the blood

transfusion that was going on.
"Nurse Kim, call me when the patient wakes up
maybe five to six hours from now" I said and she
nodded.
I walk out of the Opt with Kim and Nana trailing

behind me.
I get to my office and let loose.
"What the hell were you thinking when you were

operating on her huh? Do you want to kill
someone? I yelled at him.
"No, if she had died you will be blame for it, cus you
din take up your responsibility as the professor of
this hospital " he fired back at me.
"Wow! You have grown wings alot, anyways that's

past "I said as I remove the theater wear and
remove the glove before heading out.
"Jayden, are you going back to your house? Nana

asked.
"Yes" I replied
"Okay, am on night duty take care "She said before

going back.
Nana is a good lady, she's respectful and
intelligent, I have taste for ladies like her.
Intelligent and smart ladies, but too bad I see her

as my junior sister.
No feelings attached.
I entered my car and drove off to my house.

Thank God that Jayden came early, else what
would have be of my poor friend?
She was transfer from the Opt to a ward.
I looked at her and a tear escape from my eyes

when I remember what Sandra said when I told her
about the accident.
"She should die for all I care, I don't mind a dime "
she said.
Okay that was just too much for my poor Jiso.
Where am I gonna get the money for her hospital

bills?
Am just an orphan girl living, striving all alone to

make end meets.
Where do I find money for my friend's bills?
Where should I start begging from?
Changan is a hospital known for rich people but I

brought her here without thinking, maybe it is
because I was confidence that she will be treated
better here.
As far as she's save the money is a little riddle to

solve.
I keep looking after her till I fell asleep.

Why was he looking at the patient like that?
Jayden and I studied at the same university, we

were course mate and we did our convocation the
same time.
I have been crushing on him all this while.
Since he is not the type that talk too much I kept my

feelings secluded.
He respect me unlike how he behaves to others.

I wish that respect can turn to love cud am in love
with him so much.
Two years ain't two minutes.
I went back to my office and took my record and

went to attend to my patients.
At least I have to keep doing a good job in other not

to end up like Clara.
I pity that Clara of a girl, she was never serious

ever since she got employed to Changan so it was
not surprising when I heard what she did.
I just hope that she come out soon.
Sandra wanted to call Runa and ask her the

hospital they're in but her ego couldn't let her.
Kim on the other hand keep regretting why he

talked back at Jayden, now his stay in the hospital
is under probation.
Jayden couldn't just get the patient face off his

mind.
The sleeping face keep appearing to him.

"Who is this young girl? He keep asking himself for
over a hundred times.
He slept off with the thought of the young girl on his

mind.

When the day breaks I prepare to go home but not
after attending to some of the patients.
I started by checking up on the little girl that was

operated on last night.

scanning my eyes at every corner of the ward.

"Yes, didn't you told her about my accident? I

questioned sadly.
"Well I told her but guess what she said"
"What did she say? I asked nervously.
"She said she careless, you can go to hell for all

she care" she retorted and I felt my tears dropping.
I can't believe that I still address that woman as

mom, someone who doesn't care if I am dead or

"Good morning doctor " she and her guardian

I check her up and she was okay so I decided to

leave but her voice stopped me.
"Thanks for saving my life doctor " she said

Being the kind of person that I am I just smile a little

and walk out.
That girl is something else.
My phone ranged and I pick it up.

📱You have refused to check up on me, that's not

Immediately it was five am in the morning I woke up
and took my bath.
After bathing I headed to the kitchen to prepare
breakfast.
I opened the fridge and lots of raw food were stock

I was confused on which one to cook.
Should I make sand wich or just cook rice?
After much thinking I decides to go for rice and

stew.
Cooking is absolutely my thing, that is the only

thing I can proudly say that I learnt from my step
mom.
I put on the gas cooker and put the pot on it.
I wash the rice and stir it inside the water.

I left the rice and concentrate on the stew.

After getting through with it, I put on the fire on the
second cooker.

Not very long I was through with the cooking.
I looked at the time it was already half past six.

the food in differently.

After serving the food on the dinning table I headed

murmuring.

After standing for awhile without any idea, I found

looking for a glue if I was fired in my eyes.

with a eyes which means they thought I was lying.

What am I even saying?
I just want to be close to him, I don't know but my

heart keep getting fluttered anytime we're close to

Due to the type of girl that I am, I couldn't

. I went back to the garden and was walking around

I was on my way back from the supermarket when
a sport car speeds towards me.
I quickly pave way for it to pass but it stops in front

The owner came down and I neatly lose balance of

What the hell is this?
I looked at my neck and there was already red boil

on it gosh I hate to have spots on my skin more
than anything else.

As far as am concern our relationship ends the day

I stare at her face for awhile, I can't believe that I
just hallucinate about her.
I went to one of the rooms and pick a duvet.

I went back to the sitting room and covered her with
the duvet.
I can't believe that am doing this, have never done

it before not after some years back.
With that I quickly made my way back yo my room.
I lay on the bed still thinking about what just went

through my mind downstairs.
Could it be that am in love again?

And most especially with my own maid?
Gosh Jayden you're thinking off limit, how can such

absurd thing cross my mind.
I closed my PC and tried to fall asleep but I

couldn't, it was as if something was drawing me
back from sleeping.

After several hours of working I drifted yo sleep.

deep plate and make my way up to his room.

and not standing there gucking at me" he said more

At that short moment. I tried to think why I came
here of all malls.
When I saw the guards I should have known that

one of my family members are here.

Why was he running like that?
His so cute while running tho.
I went inside our room and met Milli and the rest
chatting.
"Hi guys" I greeted as I dropped my backpack on

the ground.

jumped on the bed with a heavy thud.
"Okay, go and prepare dinner were so fucking

After making dinner I served out Jayden's portion

I started debating on whether to go to his room or

not, seriously I started getting nervous while

This is really eating me up.

It has been fun being around Jayden this past few
days.
Like he act so different towards me more like the
other maids.
I hope that he continue treating me like this, it really

I sat down on a couch watching TV when he came

downstairs all dressed.

The last round we we're about to play I decided to

cheat.

One of the scariest thing I hate is thunderclap.
It makes me feel like the house is about to collapse,
