METE GORDİ

USUI REIKI 20.LEVEL GRANDMASTER/TEACHER

NAMASTE

Your exciting new journey has begun and I congratulate you on taking the first step towards learning
the Reiki process! Not just for learning a new skill; I am also proud of you for choosing to use the
natural, effective and beautiful energy around you to help yourself and even others.

Reiki ; Today, it has become widespread in the world as a spiritual and physical healing technique.
However, Reiki is considered to be beneficial not only as a healing technique, but also in terms of
looking at life positively thanks to a mental enlightenment, and thus it is applied in many areas.

While our Reiki Training uses established techniques to conduct the Reiki session, I believe your
intuition is also a really good guide for energy healing. Therefore, as you learn Reiki techniques, you
will notice that your Intuitive abilities also improve.
LEVELS OF REIKI

Each stage of Reiki has a significance, a secret and a depth. The important thing is not how much you
stop at the levels, but how deep you go into the secret of the level. Each level has its own beauty and
feature, and it is not appropriate to go to the next level without tasting it.

As a matter of fact, it is a prerequisite to thoroughly digest each level when starting to practice Reiki.

Level 1:

The first level allows one to recognize energy and spirituality. The way has been opened for the
person who has lived together with materiality until now to practically discover a different
dimensional plane, namely spirituality. If the person has experienced spirituality before, it allows
them to experience a different energy. So in short; It is a level where the person changes what he
needs to change in his life and purifies himself depending on his intention. It involves transferring
Reiki manually, by touch. At this level, we work at the etheric level, it is a very exciting, moving,
information-filled brand new process where interrogations and transformations begin, as it includes
our first contact and connection with Reiki.

Level 2:

The second level is the so-called "read den", that is, "confidential information". Three sacred symbols
are taught here, which will provide three-dimensional healing. These symbols are a mystery in itself,
a miracle in itself. Although they look simple, they have a lot of depth. The energy integrated with
the symbols of the second level accelerates the evolutionary process of the person. Also, the person
begins to access the secrets of the symbols. It solves their different combinations, subconscious
cleaning, room cleaning, the way symbols work. He learns how he can serve the good of the whole by
carrying it into life with symbols. The second level is a complete learning level, one is now fully in the
spiritual. Their intuition has increased and they have learned different ways of using and directing
them. The first level “Are my intuitions right or wrong?” He has learned to come out of his delusion
and trust his intuition.

Level 3:

With the master level; now the astral plane is studied and the aspect of the spiritual dimension is
included. At this level, the mastery / mastery symbol of Reiki is harmonized, the usage areas and
knowledge of this symbol are acquired; however, the mastery symbol can only be used with a Level 4
Reiki Master Instructor to initiate others into Reiki. Level 3 is also referred to as the training
preparation and transition phase. Reiki takes on a completely different journey with this level.

Reiki is included in all areas of life, experienced and dominates the person.

Level 4:

Reiki Level 4 Reiki Master Instructor level; includes the ability to initiate others into Reiki, the
teaching level, and the ability to train a Reiki Master. The mastery symbol, which is attuned to Reiki
level 3, cannot be used to channel others to Reiki (as an attunement symbol) before reaching level 4.
At this spiritual stage, the person steps into attunement knowledge and opens to the power, balance
and responsibility of walking on the path of transmitting Reiki to generations.
WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki, which means "Universal Life Force
Energy", is the name given to the energy healing
method called Raku-Kei used by Tibetan Lamas
thousands of years ago. Reiki, also referred to as
"Spiritual Wisdom Guided Life Force", consists
of the following two meaning components.
"Rei" means God-conscious, knowledgeable,
wise, and has the power of love in creation. "Ki"
means energy.
Human is also made up of two dimensions;
energy and physics dimensions. Everything
happens first in the energy dimension and then
it moves into the physical dimension. Reiki is
also a special kind of life energy. It creates a
basic balance in a person by changing his
consciousness and outlook on life. In this way, it
ensures that he continues his life in balance and
in a healthy way.

So What is this Energy?

Energy; It is a kind of force that exists in the

universe and sometimes appears in the form of
heat, light, sound, etc. Everything in the universe,
visible or invisible, is made up of energies, and
when these energies coarsen their vibration, they
materialize. So they become what we can see. But
there are also energies that we cannot see but
can feel; For example, love is a feeling, but it is
also energy.

With quantum physics, the smallest building block

of matter is not an atom; realized that it was
energy. Because it was discovered that the
nucleus of the atom consists of small structures
called quarks and that these structures vibrate
with energy. In the human body, mitochondria,
just like quarks, are cell organelles located in cells,
the smallest unit of the body, and receive
energies and transmit them to the necessary
organs.

In other words, our body also works with energy.

“Ki” is the life energy that plants, animals, people, stones, trees, sea, earth, water share by all
biodynamic entities that come to mind.
The Reiki practitioner reaches this energy more powerfully because the attunements he receives
clear the blocks in the energy channels of the body. Attunements also increase the healer's own life
energies and connect the person to the source of Reiki.

This source can be called anything the healer wishes, Goddess energy, God, first Source etc.

Reiki is not associated with any religion, so you can name the source whatever you want.

How Reiki Emerged

Reiki was invented by Dr. Mikao Usui (1865 – 1926).

According to what is written on the monument erected by his

followers after Usui's death, the energy that forms the basis of
the Reiki system came to Mikao Usui when he retired for 21
days on Mount Kurama.

Usui opened a clinic in Tokyo in 1922 to practice healing

techniques that work with this energy. Usui not only practiced
these healing methods, but also taught many people.

According to what is written, Usui worked very hard to help

people during the Kanto earthquake that caused great damage
to Tokyo in 1923. He established new clinics, went to other
parts of his country and introduced and applied the Reiki
system.

During one of these travels, Usui died at the age of 62.

One of Usui's students, Chujiro Hayashi, took this system to Hawaii in 1938, initiating his student
Hawayo Takata to become a teacher (Reiki Master) and gave him the necessary training. Takata is the
person who caused the spread of Reiki in the west. After training twenty-two people as teachers
since the 1970s, he passed away in 1980.

The vast majority of Reiki practitioners in the West are students of these twenty-two, and they all
attach to Takata, Hayashi, and Usui. At the end of our training, we will connect in the same order as
Usui-Hayashi-Takata-etc.

5 Basic Principles of Reiki:

On the tomb monument of Usui Sensei, it is written about the five principles;

“Looking back, the original purpose of Reiki was not just to cure diseases, but also for people to enjoy
life and experience happiness and to have the right mind and healthy body. “

Therefore, when it comes to teaching, he wanted students to first understand the Meiji Emperor's
counsel, then say and keep these 5 basic principles in mind morning and evening.Kyo Dake Va ;
 İkaru-na
 Şinpai suna
 Kanşa şite
 Go vo hage me
 Hito ni şinsetsu ni

Every morning and evening, while meditating, waking up or falling asleep,

join your hands and repeat these words with your heart…

Just today,

• I will not get angry about anything.

• I will not worry about anything.

• I will be grateful for every moment of my life, every breath I take, and
everything that has been given to me.

• I will work hard and earn my living with dignity.

• I will respect and treat all living things well.

When you truly understand and apply these five principles, you will find it incredibly effective. I
recommend making it a part of your life!

Attunement and Healing

Attunement means the correction of energy waves by opening the Chakras. I use the term
attunement as a synonym for healing, while some teachers use the word attunement simply to
“start” their students.

Why? Because when you do an "attunement" you are essentially attuning to the Universal Life Force
Energy and becoming a conduit for the recipient to receive its healing benefits.

NOTE:

As a healer, think of yourself as an energy channel, not an energy receiver. Let the energy
flow. This energy is not the energy your body produces. It is energy flowing through the
universe.

If you try to block the flowing energy, you may face Negative situation and consequences.
Accept the energy and let it pass you by like a little paper boat floating down and away
along the river of energy in your body. You will always be a loving channel. :)

Other Reiki Forms

In Reiki, Universal Life Force Energy, there are countless other Reiki practice styles and forms of
energy healing that you can learn, follow, and use.

The method we will learn is Western Reiki. But as your learning and practice progresses, you can try
different energy healing practices and methods. This is just a process that depends on your curiosity,
interest and needs. So if you want to combine methods, choose basic symbols instead of complex
ones and listen to your intuition.
REIKI PRACTICES

Where can we use Reiki?

You can use Reiki to cleanse, affirm and heal the energies of all living and non-living things, as you
can do to yourself and others.

• All animals like Cat Dog etc.

• To plants

• All items such as phones, tables, clothes, etc.

• Everything you eat and drink

• To your room, home, workplace

• The air you breathe

• Emotions and Thoughts

• Past and future time, place, moment, emotion, thought, person, event (will be learned at
secondary level).

How do we feel the reiki?

Reiki is a completely positive and side-effect-free healing energy. There is absolutely no risk, and the
experiences in the moments of attunement are completely individual. Since everyone's perception
level is different, the situations they will feel will also differ. While some of us feel nothing in
moments of attunement, some of us see colors and can feel the energy in its clearest form. Feeling
or not does not affect attunement. The more Reiki energy is used, the stronger it becomes.

NOTE:
During and after the Reiki attunement and session, you may experience temporary emotional and
physical symptoms such as excessive sleepiness, nightmares, emotional intensity and crying, body
aches, runny nose, coughing, sore throat. These are normal conditions. It can occur during the
cleansing and toxin removal phase of the body. It will disappear as you continue with Reiki. Do
not think that the Reiki technique affects you negatively.

IMPORTANT: During the spiritual development stage, the flow of your life will change greatly.
Relationships with people and yourself can change. The time of occurrence of future events can
be accelerated. Likewise, negative events may appear faster for you to clear them and get over
them quickly. This is a very normal process. Instead of getting upset, giving up, or procrastinating,
it's important to face the event and end it and continue healing yourself.

Reiki attunement

Chakra means wheel in Sanskrit, also called fire wheel. In our body, seven basic energy centers
known as chakras are on or very close to hormonal glands and large nerve networks and intersect
with the spine at certain points.

In our Reiki Level 1 training, we transfer Reiki energy to these 7 chakras in our body; We will regulate
the flow of the energy channel. As you continue to practice Reiki after the training, the energy flow in
the Chakras will become stronger. Your healing energy will be much more palpable.
Things to consider before attunement

• Do not consume alcohol during the day, especially for evening attunements, make sure
that your dinner is light food that is friendly to your digestive system.

• I recommend you to drink 1-2 glasses of water before attunement and then 1-2 glasses of
water.

• If possible, put the phone in airplane mode during attunement, so that it is not directly next
to you.

• Remove your metal items.

• At the start of the attunement, it is enough to let yourself breathe after you say the
attunement intention to be given to you about the channel you will be attuned to 2-3 times,
out loud or in your heart. There is no need for you to make extra effort during the
attunement. Just really be there and experience it.

• You may experience various physical sensations during attunement. It may be exaggerated
or it may be mild. These feelings are by no means a measure of attunement. It's just that my
hands are warm, my parts are tingling, without questioning whether this is it or swelling up
because I saw visions like this, heard voices like this, like I said, just be really there, it's
enough. I can tell you that physical experiences are specific to the individual attuned.

• In general, you can feel the start and end of the flow. An average attunement takes
between 20-30 minutes. When you feel that the flow has stopped, I recommend you to lie
down for 2-3 more minutes, get up slowly and enjoy the attunement.

• At the end of the day of attunement, immediately after attunement, you can work with
your healing channel whenever you want.

Self Reiki practice

• Wash your hands.
• Prepare a clean and ventilated environment
• Remove your metal items and put the mobile phone in silent mode

1. Start by doing Gassho (hands together at chest level). This is an act of relaxation. You can
intend to do Reiki by doing Gassho.

2. Kenyoku technique is applied. This technique is used to clear and strengthen the energy
field by separating you from external factors. Kenyoku means dry bath.

3. We draw the cho ku rei symbol in the air once and repeat it 3 times with words.

We send energy for 5 minutes by placing our hands in the Basic 13 positions in the 1st order.
We end the 2nd session with Gassho, again with gratitude.

KENYOKU HO-SHODEN
If there is an organ that is particularly uncomfortable outside of the basic session, you can give extra
Reiki by placing your hands on that area. There are different positions, very special application
techniques and different application times in the treatment of some important diseases and ailments
with Reiki.
Cho Ku Rei Symbol

It is a power-enhancing symbol. Increases the power of Reiki energy. It means "Put all the power of
the universe here now". It is the button that starts the work as it is the start symbol and activates all
the other symbols. It is used to increase the energy of Reiki and to focus the healing energy on a
specific area. It allows us to get rid of negative energy and creates a positive energy field. For the
symbol to work, the "Cho-Ku-Rei" mantra is chanted 3 times after drawing in the right direction and
shape.
Applying Reiki to Others

• Deposit the person you will apply. If there is no suitable place to lie down, you can also do
it in a sitting position.
• Wash your hands. The person you are going to apply should also wash their hands.

3. Clear the Aura of the person you are applying it to. Aura clearing is the same as Kenyoku.
But this time we will do it to the person to whom we will apply it. This movement will be
done 3 times from head to toe. Never do it from the toes upwards.

4. We open the crown chakra of the person you will apply with our hands.

5. We will apply the cho ku rei symbol once, draw it on the person's top and repeat it verbally
3 times.

6. We energize the crown chakra, then apply the base 12 positions. Here, the time is at your
discretion. You can continue according to the resistance of the energy flowing through your
hand. When the flow of energy decreases, you can move to the other area. An average
session takes 35-40 minutes.

7. Touch the bottom of the foot after finishing 12 positions

NOTE : Hand position can be done in 2 ways in Reiki. By touching and holding the Hand 5
cm in the air, you can make the energy flow. You can do Reiki by contacting or not
contacting the intimacy situation with the person you will apply here, or how you feel
comfortable. Either way, there will be no change in the energy flow.

If there is an organ that is particularly uncomfortable outside of the basic session, you can
give extra Reiki by placing your hands on that area.
