Okwok Conventional Oil Field, Nigeria

Okwok is a conventional oil development located in shallow water in


Nigeria and is operated by Oriental Energy Resources. Discovered in
1967, Okwok lies in block Okwok (OML 67), with water depth of
around 164 feet.

The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start


commercial production in 2023. The Okwok conventional oil
development will involve the drilling of approximately 17 wells and
includes FPSO, subsea tree, and wellhead platforms.

Production from Okwok

Production from the Okwok conventional oil development project is


expected to begin in 2023 and is forecast to peak in 2025, to
approximately 24,357 bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on
economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field
reaches its economic limit in 2044.
