Chapter 2 – Ear to Ear

Summary of Ear to Ear

 The chapter ear to ear talks about the types of ears present in the different
types of creatures.
 The chapter also discusses the types of skin present in the different types of
creatures.
 The chapter also talks about the ways of reproduction (either give birth to
young ones or lay eggs) based on the presence of ear and skin.
 Anything in our lovely universe is felt or sensed primarily through five of our
bodily parts.
 We see it with our eyes, hear it with our ears, smell it with our noses, consume
with our tongues, and feel it with our skin.

Animals with and without ears and hair on their skin

 Ear is one of the sensory organs. Animals ears exist in a number of different
forms.
 Even if we can't see their ears, the creatures with which we can't communicate
have them.
 Ears and skins are related because they signal whether an animal bears birth
or lays eggs.
 The hair on the skin causes many sorts of ear patterns.
 Animals with visible ears, which means they have hair on their skin.
 The animals whose ears aren't visible from the outside due to their modest
size. The ears of birds are covered in feathers.
 Humans, elephants, tigers, giraffes, dogs, and other creatures with visible ears
exterior have hair on their skin and produce offspring for their young.

 Fish, reptiles, birds, and other creatures without externally visible ears do not
have hair on their skin, and they lay eggs.

Ans: Cow and buffalo were put on the list: animals with hair on their body and
whose ears can be seen. We can see the hair on the skin of cows and buffalo from
the outside and they both give birth to young ones.

Q 4. If you were to meet an elephant, would you dare to touch it? Do you know
that an elephant also has hair on its skin?
Ans: I would dare to touch an elephant. Yes, I am aware that an elephant has hair on
its skin.
