MOST FREQUENT QUESTIONS PERIODIC MAINTENANCE eB esxass8 oR MEP PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTION CARER CARRELLI ELEVATORI GENERAL WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS + When accessing the electronic equipment compartment take your best care and pay attention to the opera tions that you are going to carry out, in particular if tis necessary to operate with live equipment. ~ Disconnect the battory before carrying out any maintenance operation and/or repair; in addition as thers are fitering condensers on the equipment that can remain charged for a long time, it is necessary to discharge them by connecting a 100 ohm resistance between +VB and -VB of the choppers. Never actuate the remote control switches with your hands when the battery is connected, in particular if the equipment indicates a failure, + Incase of chopper failure, for correct problem solving, it i rica to exactly detec the cause which genorated the stopping of the machine. Its therefore essential to check the alarm indication shown on tho Display (or to count the number of lashings of the LED on the chopper) and to cary out the trouble-shooting procedure according to tho indications shown. In the event thatthe alarm -not being permanent: is not shown oa the Display, tho diagnostics can be carried out, thus checking the latest alarms which occurred, by plugging the programming keyboard inte the chopper and carying out the appropriate operations. = Before replacing a broken-down chopper, itis necessary to copy by moans of the keyboard, if possible, all the data on the chopper configuralioniprogramming through the "Save" menu, then this data will be able 10 be immediately transferred to the new chopper by using the “Load” menu. + Should tha chopper be raplaced, it Is vary important to rastora the thermoconductive grease layer between the chopper and the dissipating plate. If nct, overtemperature alarm problems might arise. JOLVANTA ITTRRAWD URW. The main uses can be broken down as follows - standard pump motor control or pump motor performing the compensated hydraulic power steering function or pump ‘motor and separate hydraulic power steering motor controlied by a romote control switch. ‘The IMCP can manage up to 3 remote contro| switches having the following functions - starting of the hydraulic power steering motor, line remote control switch (acting as an “economizer in order not to overheat the remote control switch), motor BYPASS or FIELD WEAKENING remote control switch and an output for the control of a ‘proportional solenoid valve. The motor is contrellad at constant voltage, Le. the voltage supplied by the motor is independent of the battery charge state (it is clearly impossible to generate voltages higher than the battery voltage). ‘The chopper is equipped with five inputs to control five independent hydraulic functions: UFTING TITING | SIDESHIFTER ‘1st OPTIONAL ‘2nd OPTIONAL, In addition there are two analogic inputs, one of which can be used for the reading of a motor proportional regulation potentiometer, whereas the other one can be configured either as the control of a proportional solenoid valve or as a motor speed reading input by means of a speedometer dynamo; itis also possibe to control motor rotation speed by means of a cigital impulse transducer. Furthermore, the battery charge state control is inte grated in the eytorn with a function locking option (if any) in case the battory is down.
