Dear Mr. Tangeres

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Patrick Lawrence Ricamora from the Legal Management
Society (“LMS”) of San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Manila. I am writing to respectfully request your
permission to allow LMS to conduct an outreach program at the city jails of Manila and Makati on
March 09, 2024 (Saturday) from 9:00 AM to 12:00NN. This outreach program shall also be in
partnership with the Sebastinian Office of Legal Aid (“SOLA”) which shall be represented by law
students and 3 supervising lawyers.

LMS is committed to serving the community through various initiatives aimed at providing support
and assistance to those in need. As part of our efforts to promote rehabilitation and social
reintegration, we intend to reach out to members of marginalized sectors of the society, such as
persons deprived of liberty (PDL). Through our outreach program, we will provide the inmates some
basic sanitary necessities, e.g. soaps, tooth pastes, shampoo, sanitary pads for women inmates, etc. We
shall also deliver, through the SOLA, a brief lecture on the rights of PDLs.

We hope that these activities will contribute to the PDLs’ holistic development and support BJMP on
its efforts to harness a more conducive environment to the PDLs.

We understand the importance of adhering to the rules and regulations set forth by BJMP in
conducting any external activities within the premises of Manila and Makati City Jails. Rest assured
that we will comply with all necessary protocols and ensure the safety and security of both inmates
and staff throughout the duration of the program.

The outreach activity will be attended by approximately 70 individuals (35 in Manila and 35 in Makati)
from our organization and the SOLA volunteers. For our preparation, we kindly request for the
number of inmates in both jail facilities.
