The Honorable Richard Durbin

Chairman
Committee on the Judiciary
United States Senate
Washington, D.C. 20510

The Honorable Lindsey Graham

Ranking Member
Committee on the Judiciary
United States Senate
Washington, D.C. 20510

Dear Chairman Durbin and Ranking Member Graham:

I write to supplement my Senate Judiciary Questionnaire (SJQ) filed on November 15,

2023 in connection with my nomination to be a Circuit Judge for the Third Circuit Court
of Appeals.

Despite my best efforts to locate and provide all responsive information to the Senate
Judiciary Committee, it has come to my attention that I inadvertently omitted one
responsive item.

In 2022, I moderated a 50-minute panel discussion at an annual conference of the

National Association of Muslim Lawyers. The title of the panel was “Islamophobia in
America: Losing Steam or Gaining Momentum?” To the best of my recollection, I
facilitated a discussion of the state of Islamophobia in the United States.

The National Association of Muslim Lawyers asked me to moderate the panel, and as
the appointed moderator, my role was to facilitate discussion among the panelists and
coordinate questions from the audience. I did not recall this event when preparing my
responses to the SJQ, and despite diligent efforts to search my records for all potentially
responsive items, I inadvertently omitted this event. I do not have any notes, transcript,
or recording of this panel discussion. The address for the National Association of
Muslim Lawyers is 2670 Miriam Ln, Decatur, Georgia 30032.
I apologize for the inadvertent omission of this event, and I appreciate the Senate’s
ongoing consideration of my nomination.

Sincerely,

Adeel Mangi
