Here we have shared the resolution of all iPhone models that have been
released since 2007 dating all the way back to the original iPhone.
Starting our journey from the current iPhone 15 lineup we have listed the
screen resolutions of all the models that preceded it including iPhone 14,
iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone 11, iPhone XS, iPhone X all the way back to
iPhone 3G and iPhone 2G.
By just looking at the resolution of these devices released over the span of
over 14 years you can’t help but notice how far the iPhone’s screen
resolution has come and how the screen quality of these handheld devices
has evolved over the years.
It is unimaginable to use a device that only has 480 x 320 pixels resolution in
today’s day and age, but it was considered revolutionary back in 2007 when
the first iPhone made its debut.
Today we have devices such as the iPhone 15 Pro Max with its beautiful
Super Retina XDR display and 120Hz refresh rate boasting a screen
resolution of 2796 x 1290 pixels.
Want to know how much RAM your iPhone has? Or want to learn which
iPhone has most RAM? Then check here.
For wallpaper creators who pay attention to detail creating the iPhone
wallpaper with the right screen resolution for each model is important to
achieve the best results.
A wallpaper that is created for the iPhone 13 mini’s 2340 x 1080 resolution
might not look that great on the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s 2778 x 1284 as it will be
upscaled by iOS. The same might be true if the situation was reversed and
iOS had to downscale the wallpaper.
So without any further ado let’s look at the resolution of each iPhone model
ever released.
