NOTIFICATION
Sub: Rates of Travel Allowance for exam duties of RGUHS.
Ref: 1. RGUHS Notification No. RGU/AUTH/174TH SYN/112/2022-23 dated 30.01.2023.
2. Finance Committee decision in its 85th Meeting held on 06.09.2023.
3. Approval of Syndicate in its 182nd Meeting held on 25.09.2023.
Pursuant to the decision of the Syndicate vide ref(3) above, the rates of Travel
Allowance for exam duties of RGUHS are notified as follows:

SI.No. Description Rate of Travel allowance

01 Travel by RMA @ Rs.15/- per KM
Road (permissible upto maximum 1000 Kms on way, admissible for both
ways maximum upto 2000 Kms, within the state of Karnataka only)
Anyhow, for the travels' from and To' outside the state of Karnataka,
this clause is not applicable. In this case, mode of travel shall be either
by Air in Economy Class or by Tran (AC First Class or below Class). This
is applicable on the production of the proper documents like self
attested Ticket, Boarding Pass etc.
02 Taxi From the place of work to Railway Station and Railway Station to
Charges Venue of duty and vice-versa.
Road Mileage Allowance @Rs.15/- per Kms or the amount in the
original Bill given by the Agency/Auto, whichever is less.

Note:

1. In addition to the Travel Allowance, the examiners are entitled to claim DA/Practical
Exam Remuneration etc., as per RGUHS Norms.
2. Attendance shall be certified by the Principal/Registrar(Evaluation)
3. All the bills are to be submitted along with inspection report, appointment orders,
Tickets, Boarding Pass, etc. (whichever is applicable)
This notification will come into with immediate effect.
