22.

The secret is apparent


1. However, Yaqoob was human, in his chest was a human heart, not a piece of stone
2. So, he remembered Yusuf and his grief became renewed and he said: o what grief upon Yusuf
3. And his sons blamed him and they said, indeed you will continue remembering Yusuf until you
die
4. Yaqoob said: Indeed, I complain of my grief and sadness to Allah and I know from Allah what
you do not know
5. And Yaqoob knew that despair is disbelief
6. And Yaqoob had great hope in Allah
7. And Yaqoob sent his sons to Egypt so that they may search for Yusuf and Binyamin and they
strive in that
8. And Yaqoob prevented them from that they love hope from Allah’s mercy
9. And the brothers went to Egypt a third time
10. And they entered upon Yusuf and they complained to him of their poverty and calamities and
they asked him for a favour.
11. And here grief and love awakened in Yusuf and he did not control himself
12. My father’s sons and the messenger’s sons they complain of their poverty and calamities to
the king of the kings
13. Till when will I hide the matter from them and till when will I see their condition and till when
will I not see my father?
14. Yusuf did not control himself and he said to them
15. Do you know what you did to Yusuf and his brother when you were arrogant?
16. And the brothers knew indeed this secret only Yusuf and we knew it
17. Then they knew indeed he is Yusuf
18. Glory be to Allah! Is Yusuf alive, did he not die in the well?
19. O dear! Is Yusuf the governor of Egypt?
20. Is he the one who is upon the treasures of the earth?
21. Is he the one who was commanding for us food?
22. And doubt did not remain by them indeed the one speaking to them Yusuf the son of Yaqoob!
23. The said are you definitely Yusuf
24. He said: I am Yusuf and this is my brother. Definitely Allah favours us, indeed he who fears
and is patient then indeed Allah does not destroy reward for those who do good.
25. They said by Allah, Allah definitely favoured you over us and we are definitely wrongdoers
26. And Yusuf did not blame them upon their doings, but he said:
27. May Allah forgive you and He is the most merciful of the ones who show mercy
