Course Description:

This course covers an overview of cybercrime, including a basic understanding of computer technology, history of cybercrimes, nature and types of cybercrimes, incident response,
collection and preservation; digital investigative plan, and the applicable legal provision. This also covers the study of the concepts and principles of environment specifically on
ecosystem and biodiversity, various threats to their existence and its impact on humankind. It includes the study of relevant environmental laws and jurisprudence, the detection,
investigation, and gathering of evidence in the prosecution of cases.

Course Objective:

At the end of this course the student should be able to:

1. Conduct Criminological research on nature and scope of cybercrime


2. Demonstrate competence and broad understanding to Develop knowledge of major incidents of cybercrime
3. Utilize Forensic Science in the investigation use of computer technology combatting cybercrime and other technological crimes
4. Apply the Principles of Jurisprudence of cybercrime and digital law enforcement
5. Collaborate effectively the national and global digital law enforcement efforts independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams
6. Engage in lifelong learning and understanding the developments in the field Criminology and governing cybercrime detection
7. Apply professional, social, and ethical standards in the practice of digital law enforcement.

Uniform – Students are expected to wear Type A uniform during online class.
