Gauri Khan, born as Gauri Chibber on October 8, 1970, is a renowned Indian film producer, interior

designer, and wife of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. She is known for her impeccable taste in
design and her contributions to the Indian film industry.

Gauri was born and raised in a middle-class family in New Delhi. Her father, Colonel Ramesh Chandra
Chibber, served in the Indian Army, and her mother, Savita Chibber, is a homemaker. She has a brother
named Vikrant Chibber.

From a young age, Gauri had a keen interest in art and design. She pursued her passion and completed her
education in Bachelor's in History from Lady Shri Ram College in New Delhi. After graduation, she
worked briefly as an intern in the Oberoi Hotels in Delhi. However, her true calling was in the field of
interior design, and she went on to study the subject at the National Institute of Fashion Design in Delhi.

In 1991, Gauri met Shah Rukh Khan, who was then a struggling actor, at a common friend's party. They
fell in love, and despite their religious and cultural differences, they got married in 1991 in a traditional
Hindu ceremony. Gauri converted to Islam before the wedding, and they have been happily married for
almost three decades now.

After their marriage, Gauri took a backseat from her career and focused on being a supportive wife and
mother to their three children - Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam. However, she continued to pursue her passion
for design and started her own interior design store, 'The Design Cell' in Mumbai.

In 2004, Gauri made her debut as a producer with the film 'Main Hoon Na,' starring her husband Shah
Rukh Khan. The film was a commercial and critical success, and Gauri received praise for her production
skills. She went on to produce films like 'Om Shanti Om,' 'My Name is Khan,' and 'Chennai Express,' all of
which were blockbuster hits.

Apart from her successful career as a producer and interior designer, Gauri is also known for her
philanthropic work. She is associated with several charities and organizations and actively works towards
the betterment of society. She also supports her husband's foundation, 'Meer Foundation,' which works
towards empowering women and children in need.

Gauri's impeccable sense of style and fashion has made her a fashion icon in India. She has been featured
on the covers of various fashion magazines and has also walked the ramp for several renowned fashion
designers. She has also collaborated with several brands and has been the face of many ad campaigns.

Despite being the wife of one of the biggest stars in Bollywood, Gauri has maintained a humble and down-
to-earth attitude. She is known for her shy and reserved nature but has always been a pillar of support for
her husband and his career. She is a doting mother and wife, and her family always comes first for her.

In conclusion, Gauri Khan's life is an inspiration to many. From being a middle-class girl in Delhi to
becoming one of the most successful producers and interior designers in India, she has come a long way.
Her dedication, hard work, and determination have made her a force to be reckoned with in the Indian film
industry. She continues to inspire women to follow their dreams and proves that with passion and
perseverance, anything is possible.
