Power BI Tasks
Difficulty Level I
Task - 01: Create a simple report or dashboard using Power BI Desktop, by
connecting to a data source, importing data, and applying basic transformations and
visualizations. For example, you can create a report that shows the sales
performance of different products or regions, using charts, tables, and slicers.
Task - 02: Publish and share your report or dashboard to the Power BI service, by
uploading it to a workspace, setting the refresh schedule, and granting access to
other users. For example, you can publish your sales report to a workspace called
Sales Analysis and share it with your manager and colleagues.

Difficulty Level II
Task - 01: Enhance your report or dashboard by adding more features and
functionalities, such as filters, bookmarks, drill-through, drill-down, tooltips, custom
visuals, etc. For example, you can add a filter pane to your sales report, so that users
can filter the data by product category, region, or time period.
Task - 02: Create and use measures and calculated columns using DAX (Data Analysis
Expressions), a formula language for Power BI. For example, you can create a measure
that calculates the total sales amount, and a calculated column that calculates the
profit margin for each product.

Difficulty Level III

Task - 01: Develop and deploy a data model using Power BI and Analysis Services, by
creating a tabular model project, defining the data sources, relationships, hierarchies,
partitions, roles, etc. For example, you can create a data model that integrates data
from multiple sources, such as SQL Server, Excel, and web APIs, and supports
complex calculations and security requirements.
