COACHING PROPOSAL FOR [COMPANY NAME]


CURRENT SITUATION

• After three years in business sales are now steadily declining between 5-10%
each month. If the sales decline continues, the businesses livelihood and
existence will be seriously threatened.
• You had originally projected sales growth to support a second location, and
that currently isn’t on the radar now.
• You’ve spent money on advertising and marketing and, despite your best
efforts, you haven’t experienced a satisfactory ROI. This has included direct
mailers, some local radio and local tv advertising. You’ve dabbled with
Facebook post boosts, but haven’t seen a direct correlation to new sales.
• You currently aren’t spending any money on any monthly advertising or
marketing.
• Your digital presence online is virtually non-existent. You have your pages set
up, but there is little to no engagement on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and
you have a dormant YouTube Channel.
• You have a small email list but do nothing with it.
• People aren’t finding your business easily online in local search.
• Your online reviews are not being managed and there is no strategy for
responding to negative reviews.
• You haven’t had success with outside digital marketing help in the past, and
you are open to a new experience that is results-driven.
• You believe you’re missing out on the millennial market and you’re losing
market share to your competition in the surrounding local area that you serve.

OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this coaching engagement include, but are not limited to coaching
you how to:
• Create a 90-day digital marketing plan, with strategies and campaign
ideas to meet the other objectives listed below.
• Leverage basic to advanced digital advertising strategies to: a) ethically
steal market and mindshare from the competition in the local area, b)
expand your customer reach to areas that haven’t been penetrated yet, c)
attract more millennials to the business and d) to ultimately increase
sales. This will include utilizing Facebook’s ad manager/power editor for
Facebook and Instagram advertising.
• Grow the email database and create an email marketing strategy to
communicate and market to our existing customers.
• Implement a SMS marketing strategy to increase sales.

METRICS
Progress toward the objectives will be measured by:
• Completion of the Digital Marketing Plan
• Successful completion of weekly campaigns and ‘homework’
assignments to implement the coaching each week
• Increase in social media engagement, likes/followers, and overall market
reach
• Email list growth
• Sales increase

TIMING

This coaching program is for 8 sessions, 1.5 hrs. each. They can be spread over 60-
90 days. We’re can begin within a week of your approval and we will schedule our first
meeting.

HOW WE WORK
This is a collaborative relationship. While I’ll work ‘over your shoulder’ showing you
how to implement these strategies in each session, I’ll also make time to review your
implementation each week and provide email feedback as needed.

My role would include coach as well as sounding board for plans, idea and strategies
for implementation steps, devil’s advocate on key moves, third-party objective review
source, and facilitator of the entire digital advertising process.

I will be accessible by phone and e-mail for document review and advice, and I
estimate the time together to encompass about 90 days depending on how you want

to spread out the 8 sessions.

JOINT ACCOUNTABILITIES
You would be responsible for internal scheduling, reasonable access to key personnel,
on-site administrative support, and reasonable access to past and current
documentation that would aid the project. I would sign all required nondisclosure and
confidentiality agreements, and would provide all administrative support off-site. We
agree to immediately apprise each other of any intelligence or findings that would
impact the success of the project so that rapid action could be considered. I am
covered by comprehensive errors and omissions insurance.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS


I never assess an hourly or daily fee, since you should not have to make an investment
decision every time my assistance may be needed, nor should your people have to
seek permission to spend money if they need my help.

Fees for the coaching program:

$5,000

These fees are inclusive of expenses, so long as all work required is in the general area
we’re both able to travel and that is convenient for us both, or over the phone/web
conference. All travel, administrative, logistical, and communication expenses are
included, so there is no further amount due for any option.

Payment terms are:

Full payment up front, or split as 2 payments over first 2 months.
